I grew up in North Richland Hills, Texas and graduated from Birdville High School in 2003. I graduated from UTA in May 2008 with my bachelor's degree. I began substitute teaching for HEB ISD that fall. I was given the opportunity to long term substitute at Lakewood and fell in love with the campus, the students, and the staff.  I was then offered a full time position and am starting my 9th year of teaching. My husband and I have 2 beautiful girls, Peyton and Ava.
