A challenge in 2nd grade is the number of students that need support. We're having a hard time finding time for dedicated intervention groups. We have thought about doing it during Flex Learning on Zoom, but kids need in-class support, too (teacher cannot be on computer with headphones and help students in class).

1st: Group of students reading above grade level and need more enrichment. Teacher struggling time for individual conferences but has introduced Readers Theater. Kids have figured out their roles and are enjoying it. 

3rd: Feels rushed through every subject and it's been hard to find times to have enriching conversations. How to use the flex time? 

Flex time: kids that need extension have book clubs, kids that are support have a computer program/1:1s, but grade level kids aren't always getting what they need

How can we better utilize our staff for academics (Associates, small group rules, etc). 

Ideas: Readers Theater, differentiated projects, small group teacher roles, more small group time with learning specialists
