Where Angels Fear to Tread is his first novel. It is the story of Lilia, a young English widow who falls in love with an Italian, and of the efforts of her bourgeois relatives to get her back from Monteriano.
    I liked this story as it is easy to read and very attractive to follow the plot and the activity of the main characters to know what will be in the end.

    I think that the main idea of this novel is to show people that sometimes the life can give us unexpected moments such as new life, love and a child after some difficult time. Moreover, the author shows us the attitude of some relatives to the children. I think that the author wanted to say that sometimes people can only make the show that they like you or want to help, but in reality they do it because of the publicity and raising of their authority. 

In ancient Greek mythology, Pygmalion fell in love with one of his sculptures, which then came to life. The general idea of that myth was a popular subject for Victorian era British playwrights, including one of Shaw's influences, W. S. Gilbert, who wrote a successful play based on the story called Pygmalion and Galatea that was first presented in 1871 
As for me, i like the main character Eliza because she is ambitious and wants to chand her life , not to sell flowers

This is a play about a man who picks a poor person off the street who sells flowers named Eliza Doolittle. The man’s name is Henry Higgins. Henry makes a bet with another man named Pickering. The bet was to see if Henry could make Eliza, the poor girl from the streets, into an elegant, beautiful girl with good manners.

My favourite character of this play is Eliza. Eliza Doolittle, also called Liza, is a girl perhaps 18 or 20 years old. Her initial appearance as a flower girl is quite unattractive: dirty, shabbily dressed, and in need of a dentist. Her Cockney accent and "kerbstone English" place her in London's lower class, yet her intelligence and ambition allow her to aspire to something finer. The flower girl who presents herself at Higgins's laboratory is a "deplorable figure," making her transformation to a lady who can pass for a duchess all the more awesome. Yet, as Eliza points out to Pickering, her fine speech and manners are acquired skills, nothing more. Learning them was "just like learning to dance in the fashionable way." The real transformation comes with being treated like a lady and, from there, gaining self-respect. By the end of the play, Eliza emerges as a poised, independent woman who knows her own worth and intends to make her own way in the world.

Pygmalion is a play about social classes, gentility and manners, marriage and gender solidarity.

The impact of business and industry on the personal lives of the characters is a key theme of Bennett's novel.

I find this book very interesting. However, it was very difficult for me to read because of the plot.

The main two topics of this play are the problem of social inequality and the problem of classical English.

My favourite character is Eliza Doolittle. Eliza's character shows how much strength and undisclosed talent ordinary people have. The play shows how Eliza is struggling to rise to a higher cultural level.

I think that the main message of B. Shaw's play is the ability of a person to take responsibility for their actions, and also teaches us to respect the actions of other people. If we want to change someone, we need to understand what result it can lead to and be ready for it.

My favourite character is Eliza, who was an uneducated girl from the lower classes. She has developed a sense of self-respect and judgment. She completely changed herself by the end of the play. She has learned all the good manners, bearing and speaking. The conversation with Pickering allowed us to understand what a sensitive and sincere nature she was. In spite of all his actions, she forgave it all. She was a very noble girl, with whom you can take an example.

I think the main message of this novel is that people should be able to understand each other. When we decide to be with a person or not, we must pay great attention to the relationship and understanding between you.
I would definitely recommend this novel to a friend or anyone. The Ambassadors left a lot of positive emotions on me after reading it.
