         <description><![CDATA[<div>Athens :&nbsp;<br>Athens had 2 councils a council of 500 who would meet every day and the assembly who met every 10 days.Instead of having&nbsp; a king they had a Democrocy.<br><br>Sparta had an Oligarchy in an Oligarchy only the rich ruled.  Sparta had a council of elders who had to be over the age of 60.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Athens boys were taught reading, writing, and math.  Athens girls were taught cook, clean, spin thread and weave clothes.<br><br>Spartan boys were taught military training at the age of 7. Spartan girls were taught some military training like wrestling, boxing, foot tracing, and gymnastics.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Athens women could  not vote or attend to assemblies, marry who they wanted, be citizens and cold not inherit properties.<br><br>Sparta women could inherit properties and if their husband was at war to long then they could re-marry.</div>]]></description>
