1) AQUEDUCTS are man-made tunnels that are made to carry water from far mountain ranges into the city.

2) STRONG BRIDGES were made over rivers so people could get over.

3) Roman architecture has influenced many buildings for centuries. For example the Pantheon's dome. These BUILDING DESIGNS INSPIRED LATER SOCIETIES like our society. 

4) Romans developed EXCELENT DURABLE ROADS. 1) The Romans built strong buildings, but also wanted it to be beautiful.

2) They used COLUMNS AND OPEN SPACES. They got this idea from ancient greeks. They made the structures look elegant and pretty, but made them stronger.

3) Some of the main Roman styles the Romans used for their building had arches, and domes. Even today some architects use this style on buildings. 1) Roman artists tried  to make their art look so real or realistic. Also the Greeks tried to make their art look realistic. This was another thing the Greeks influenced the Romans.

2) Roman artists were amazing at portraits. They were so good that people that view the portrait can tell what the subjects personality was like.
