Alex named his dog after Carl. .Alex decides to make a toy rocket and set it off at S.H.A.R.F, a rocket company in New Mexico, that is having a competition. In His journey to S.H.A.R.F he puts and iPod in his rocket with his recordings from earth hoping that it will go past the atmosphere and hopefully get listened by aliens. The day of the competition, Alex’s rocket and idea did not go as planned.
