I feel minimum wage is fair when it is done right. I feel like employees should be able to get more money if they need it. If their situation is desperate as in they have 4 kids and it is a single working mom or they break a leg and can't do a hard job or they are homeless and need more money in order to build themselves up. I think it should also be more depending on what their age is. Also how hard an employee works because if one works harder than the other then the other doesn't deserve as much as the one that is working hard. while the one that is working hard is earning as much as the one that isn't doing anything. I think it is good that they are trying to raise the minimum wage but in this economy, $15 is not even enough to get you a good meal. $22 is enough to get you a good meal but not good enough to cover other expenses especially if you have a family and kids or others to take care of.

I'm not surprised our minimum wage is being compared i feel as if we have one of the most expensive economies in the United states. Yet we have the lowest minimum wage. we make our residents struggle for their needs while other places don't. I think it is far that it is decided by states but i feel that if one state is abusing their power then the nation should step in and change that law. I feel a $25 minimum wage is fair in California maybe even higher.
