From the Skypark, you can see the innovative double helix bridge, the port, the Gardens by the Bay (101 hectares of land converted into waterfront gardens), and the impressive skyline.

While up there on top of the city, guests can grab a snack or a coffee at the rooftop restaurant or pick up some keepsakes from the souvenir stand. You can purchase a photo of yourself green-screened in front of the massive hotel as it's all lit up at night, but the cost is steep at 50 Singapore dollars—better to ask a fellow tourist to snap a photo of you if possible. The elegant opulence of the Marina Bay Sands exemplifies Singapore's style and status as a major international city in Southeast Asia.

You won't want to miss Supertree Grove, where you'll find a cluster of the iconic, futuristic structures designed to perform environmentally sustainable functions. Then, head to the Cloud Forest Dome to see the world's tallest indoor waterfall and learn a bit about biodiversity. Check the website for ticket sale prices and tour times.

The orangutans are particularly impressive, and visitors can watch as babies and adults alike swing high above their platforms and snack on fruits. There is also a large chimpanzee family, zebras, meerkats, a komodo dragon, mole rats, white tigers, kangaroos, and many other creatures.

Guests can observe feedings for some of the animals. Allow at least three hours to make your way around the zoo.

If the zoo doesn't satisfy your need for getting close to wildlife, there's also the Night Safari, River Safari (including a giant panda forest), and the Jurong Bird Park. Park hopper passes are available if you plan to visit more than one of the wildlife parks.

For a unique and personal wildlife experience, try the Singapore Zoo Breakfast with the Orangutans. This hassle-free tour includes transportation from and to your hotel, allows you half day to explore the zoo, and has an optional upgrade to enjoy breakfast in the company of the zoo's much-loved orangutans.

If you get hungry while burning through all that cash, there are plenty of eateries in the neighborhood serving international food.

There are several different ticket packages to choose from, and each includes access to the multimedia Journey of Dreams exhibit, which delves into Singapore's history and the creation of the Singapore Flyer.

Flights last 30 minutes and run from early morning until late at night, so you can choose which view of the city you want to enjoy: the beginning of another bustling day or when Singapore is aglow after dark.

In addition to the many rides—that range from kiddie-friendly to daredevil —the park also has diverse dining options, shopping, and live shows throughout the day and night.

The structure, which was relocated to Merlion Park in 2002, where it can overlook Marina Bay, weighs 70 tonnes and stands at 8.6 meters tall, spouting water from its mouth in a fountain.

The "Merlion Cub" sits nearby, only two meters tall but a hefty three tonnes, and there are five additional official Merlion statues throughout the city. Merlion Park is an ideal spot for photo-ops, whether you are taking a selfie in front of the iconic creature or capturing the magnificent views from the park as it looks out over the bay.

When dining out with the family, stick to classics like sweet and sour fish ($13), chilli crab ($38), crispy oat prawn ($18), hotplate beancurd ($13) and other family favourites.
4.Aquamarine
There's heaps to enjoy about AquaMarine's Halal-certified buffet which offers a diversity of food from all around the world. All is represented here – Asian cuisine, the freshest seafood and sashimi and a magnificent dessert table with nonya kueh, ice cream, mousses, pastries and cakes.
5. Warong Nasi Pariaman
Opened by Haji Isrin at the corner of Kandahar Street in 1948 – where it remains today – and now run by third-generation owners, the stall continues to churn out homely platters of authentic Malay dishes to a throng of people, including celebrities like former sports personality Fandi Ahmad and musical artist Dato Ramli Sarip.

'Generous' is Nasi Pariaman's middle name. Plates are packed with rice covered in gravy of your choice – there’s chicken curry and lodeh – and an assortment of side dishes such as sambal goreng, bagedil, ikan bilis, tofu and long beans. But the star here is the beef rendang ($3.50), a tender hunk of meat that’s drenched in spices, chilli and gravy. Pair this dish with a steaming cup of teh tarik ($1.30) to complete your meal. 

To save cash and time, I’d recommend checking out the Singapore Tourist Pass. It gives you unlimited travel for as long as you wish. A one-day pass is $10 SGD ($7.50 USD), a two-day pass is $16 SGD ($12 USD) or you can get a three-day pass for $20 SGD ($15 USD).

While the MRT is great, sometimes it can also be more convenient to just hop in a car. However, taxis are pricey in Singapore, and Uber is no longer a thing.

So, download the app, Grab, before you go. It works just like Uber, and it’s a local must-have app.
2.Get to Gardens by the Bay Early
As one of the most popular attractions in the city, Gardens by the Bay gets quite busy. The Flower Dome and Cloud Forest open up at 9 a.m., so I recommend getting there about 15 minutes early so you’re among the first ones to purchase tickets, which run at $28 SGD (about $21 USD) per person.

The Gardens and Supertree Grove are free to enjoy all day, opening at 5 a.m., and you can explore the upper walkway between the trees for $8 SGD ($6 USD) per person.
3.Drink the Tap Water
The water is absolutely safe to drink here. Bring a refillable water bottle, so that you can reduce the amount of plastic you use.
4.Stay Connected
While you will find many restaurants and cafés in Singapore with Wi-Fi, the cost (in both time and money) of buying a coffee every time you want to connect adds up quickly.t lets me connect my phone and laptop (up to five devices) to WiFi all day long with unlimited usage. 5.Get the Best View in Town
You can stayed at the iconic Marina Bay Sands and got a chance to take in the view from the infinity pool. The city’s skyline was absolutely gorgeous from up there.

To experience the famous pool, you have to be a hotel guest. You can, however, check out the breathtaking view from the Observation Deck on the 57th floor. Seeing Singapore from the deck is so worth it!
6.You Don’t Always Have to Tip
Tipping isn’t actually a part of Singapore’s culture. The staff doesn’t expect tips, so don’t feel obligated. Though, if you are really happy with the service, tips are most certainly appreciated.
7.Pack Accordingly
Singapore is hot and humid all-year-round, with temperatures often reaching over 90 degrees (F). Even in the midst of winter, you will rarely see nighttime lows dip below 75 degrees (F).

Carry lightweight clothes and be sure to pack a rain jacket. The rain can come down heavily and without warning.

While it can actually be refreshing on a hot day, you’ll want to come prepared for the unexpected showers.
