What to think of that? Conor would probably have social media everywhere. I’m sure hope had plenty of friends and posts, and was very outgoing and pleasant to be around. But, once his mom fell ill, he hid himself. He didn’t have friends not just because they new his mother had cancer, but because he blocked them out of his life. After the incident, Conor shut down all of his social media. He made everything private, for he didn’t want more people to know about him and “how terrible he was”. He removed all friends from his profiles and deleted most posts. By doing this, he deleted himself from the outside world. He wouldn’t have to deal with people anymore. “‘Leave me alone,’ Conor said, pushing past her”(25). Conor is pushing people away, and not for the best reason.
