1. what is migration?
Migration is the movement of a population that occurs from one place of origin to another and results in a change of habitat in the case of humans or in the case of migratory animals. From the above, two types of migration can be considered: human migration and animal migration. Human migration is studied both through demography and population geography.

1. Is migration a social problem?
Yes, because People leave their places of origin in search of new opportunities and better conditions of survival. Many factors can be found that motivate people to migrate, such as finding better jobs, increasing insecurity, improving education, and more.

2. Ethnocentrism
Ethnocentrism is the ideological tendency to explain all of reality only within the parameters of one's own culture. This often leads to thinking that one's culture is universal, natural or, more importantly, that it makes it the standard by which others are measured, instead of understanding that one is just one among many other people. in the world.

3. Ethnic Enclaves
Sociologically, an ethnic region is a geographical area with a high concentration of ethnic groups, with a specific cultural identity and economic activity.

Human beings have always moved from one country, locality, place of residence to settle in another. We tend to migrate from the homes of our families or guardians into our own homes. We migrate between regions, cities and towns. And we also migrate between countries.

The majority of the historical sources on this site are concerned with the latter type of migration that between countries but within the stories of the individuals and communities collected here all of the other forms of migration are also represented.

Is migration a social problem?

In my opinion, migration can become a problem if a massive group of people arrive in a country illegally, since normally the place where they arrive can have problems of poverty due to the large number of people and the small number of jobs. of those who had the place

Ethnocentrism

is a term applied to the cultural or ethnic bias whether conscious or unconscious in which an individual views the world from the perspective of his or her own group, establishing the in group as archetypal and rating all other groups with reference to this ideal.

Ethnic Enclaves

In sociology, an ethnic enclave is a geographic area with high ethnic concentration, characteristic cultural identity, and economic activity. The term is usually used to refer to either a residential area or a workspace with a high concentration of ethnic firms. Their success and growth depends on self-sufficiency, and is coupled with economic prosperity.

What is migration?
-Across periods of time, we have been witnessing the variations of populations across different nations around the world. These variations would either be about the increase in the number of people living in an area, or the decrease in such number. We call this movement of people in and out of populations as migration.

-Migration is not a recent discovery. It has been done in all of history. This movement has affected a nation’s culture, lifestyle, and political stance. Others may have moved to a new area in order to inhabit such place. Yet there is more to migration that the increase or decrease of people living in a specific place.

Is migration a social problem?
-Because different cultures do not mix. People want their own cultures. Different cultures bring conflict and hate. See ducks and geese eat same grass BUT separately. Yes migration brings problems along with too many people in any country. Actually whole world has too many people with problems and needs birth control.

Ethnocentrism
-Ethnocentrism is the tendency to look at the world primarily from the perspective of one’s own culture. Part of ethnocentrism is the belief that one’s own race, ethnic or cultural group is the most important or that some or all aspects of its culture are superior to those of other groups. Some people will simply call it cultural ignorance.

Ethnic Enclaves
-Ethnic enclaves are communities with high concentrations of one ethnic group usually resulting from immigration patterns. Many scholars believe that ethnic enclaves slow immigrant assimilation into American society, a phenomenon known as the “enclave thesis.”
