For this design, I learned how to highlight the icing of the donut properly. I also learned how to put in images and change their color / hue / brightness.

This project was quick and nice, we had to make senior T-shirt designs. I learned how to order text properly, and I got more comfortable with the color-drop tool.

In this project we had to create logos for our initials. I learned how to create a gradient over text, and how to find good fonts to use.

This was a Hot Wheels logo parody. This project helped me learn how to warp and fit different texts.

This was our very first project in this class, and it taught me a lot. It taught me where the tools were, and how to use them. It taught me how to duplicate and recolor layers, as well as use the bucket tool.

This was our very first time creating something for an actual customer. It was also the very first time we did anything that was more text based than it was creativity. It was fun having rules to follow.

For this project we had to create patterns. I was very fond of this pattern, but not so much the colors. I think the yellow threw me off.

This is another pattern from the pattern project. It was fun creating the gradient for it without actually using a smudge/blur tool.

This is another option from the flier project. This was definitely my second choice, I liked the contrast between the yellow and blue.

This project was extremely fun. It taught me how to use the gaussian blur effect, and how to properly put filters onto images.

This project was for DIY week. It was really fun to be able to get creative with everything. And I learned how to use the select tools properly.

This is a donut design where we got free rein. This project was extremely fun, and this was one of my favorites. I learned how to be more creative and highlight things properly.

This was one from DIY week, where we got to follow tutorials and do whatever we wanted. I figured out how to add things to images and make them look like they were really there with lighting and shading.

This was my food truck design, from our food trucks projects. It includes Laurens logo, and my menu. This project was very tedious but I enjoyed it. I learned how to put things together and make them look good.

Reflection

I was a part of Graphic Design I Seventh hour. I found this class extremely helpful and fun. I got to experiment with things I wouldn't have been able to outside of this classroom. I learned how to use gradients, how to insert and format text/images, how to follow a clients needs, and more. If I follow through with my plan of graphic design, this class will have helped me a lot. Even if it was just the basics. I am extremely glad I got to participate in this class, and learn everything I did.
