The Soldier's of Australia and New Zealand went into World War 1 at exactly the same time as Great Britain (11 am, August 4, 1914) because intrinsically, dramatically
and militarily they were an addition of the British Crown. Where Britain stood, we stood. Her enemies were our enemies. Where she led we followed.
