I wanted to do this drawing to honor his memory. As for the drawing itself, I found his glasses most challenging. The right side was too small compared to the left. I had to revise them several times. The graph on the reference photo really helped me get them the right size. I feel I achieved a good likeness and even though the glasses were challenging I also feel they are the strongest part of the drawing. I think I could still improve his mustache and mouth; it isn't looking the same as the reference photo. Quackity (or his real name Alex/Alexis) , is a law student from Mexico, and I've been watching his content for quite a bit. I'm not sure the exact date, but I would guess mid or late 2016. The main challenge I encountered was shading his main body. there was many creases, which made it hard in shading. I believe the shading portion of the face went well, as well as the letter drawn. I think I could improve on the sweater by shading it even darker, and improving on some of the light spots. The think that bothers me the most however, is his mouth/facial features shapes. The mouth looks off in some way... It may be the way that it looks more so liken a smile when a small grin. I decided to do a drawing of him because I find the movies he is in rather entertaining due to his unique acting style. One of the few challenges that I faced when drawing this portrait was trying to find the right value without obscuring some other details. To solve this, I simply darkened the details without making them 'pop-out' too much as to not drag the focus onto them. I personally like the shading I did near the lower area of the portrait, as it shows a lot of differences in shades and values that can appear on one image. One thing that still somewhat bothers me that I think I can improve is the eye size. I feel like on my drawing, the eyes are a little bigger than the one on the reference image, but I don't see it as too much of an issue. Also, sorry for the low quality image. He passed away in Oman in 2018. I chose to draw a portrait of him because I wanted to draw someone that I have seen before, and also because I think the picture I found didn't have so many small details. The hardest part to draw on this picture was the eyes,  I don’t know why. The grid made everything much easier to get in proportion. the thing I like the most about my drawing is the nose, because I think it looks quite similar to the picture. I think I could improve the shape of the eyes.

I decided to do this because I didn't want to do an actor because I have no favorite actor and I have always liked this picture of my sister. The hardest part of it was the fact that because I drew it on A4 printer paper, when I drew the graph lines, I slightly gouged the paper and I used an eraser which wasn't fit for art and I ended up with white lines through it making shading really challenging. The eraser marks were really hard to shade in while still making sure they were the correct shade, and with the gouges, I had to fill each one in. Also darkening the hair was quite challenging while still having highlights.

The hardest part of this portrait was definitely the hair, i thought it was really difficult to draw the curls and the different waves of the hair. I solved this by trying different techniques and erasing them if they didnt work out until i found a technique the worked for me. I think i did well on the shading. the thing i like the most is the face structure in my drawing, i feel like the eyes and nose could be improves as they look kinda weird. The thing bothering me most about my drawing is definitely the eyes and hair.

I think I did the outline of his face the most and that's what I like about my drawing. The thing that could be improved is the shading 100%. There were several difficulties during I drew him, which were drawing his eyes, nose, and shading his face. At the very first step, I was struggled with who do I have to choose because I don't have any favorite celebrities. Also, during I drew him, I was struggling with particularly shading and still need to work on shading more. She is somebody that I've always looked up to as a skier. I had a lot of challenges with this drawing, from getting the shading just right, the nose being a bit too big, and the left eye I also had a lot of trouble with. I ended up making the nose a bit bigger, changing the left eye multiple times until I found a way to do it that didn't look so totally horrible, and worked on the shading as much as I could, even just the little details. I really like the right eye of my drawing, because it looks the most realistic. There's a lot of things still bothering me about my portrait, like how her chin, neck, and lips turned out (so basically the lower half of her face), how her right eye turned out (and really just the surrounding area), and her hair and jacket because I feel like I could have gotten it a bit more detailed. The shading in some places also looks very distorted. (If you look closely at her right eye, you can also see where the paper got worn down and that also changes it up a bit more.) For example, I could have drawn Albert Einstein, Sigmund Freud, etc. However, I decided that there are so many people in this world, and decided to draw a random person I found on the internet. I had a lot of difficulty drawing this, as drawing the man in proportion was difficult. It seemed something was always wrong; whether it was his lips, his nose, his eyes, and many other things. Eventually, I got my end result. It wasn't perfect, but I'm fairly confident in my drawing.

I enjoy his music and respect his artistic talent. I have had multiple challenges with my drawing. The biggest challenge that I've faced with this drawing is that in the reference photo that I picked, the light is shining directly on his face so there are very few dark spots to shade. I have also had problems with shading his hair properly. In order to match the correct values of his har, I have had to shade it multiple times, each time darkening the shading of the last. I feel that I did well on shading his face in order to match his complexion. The shading can still be improved as there are really only two values (light and medium), but that would require a different reference photo. In the end, I enjoyed the process of drawing a portrait and I feel that I've done a decent job at it. I chose him because he reminds me of how honored he should be, based on what he've done so far. For this assignment, i haven't faced a lot of challenges but one of them were the eyes, i couldn't blend well. I solved this challenge by going over the shading and adding more. I like how the overall look looked like, the ghitra, shading, etc. I would still love to focus on shading and the values of light for the upcoming assignments.  However, the blending is bothering me, it should   be more blended instead.

I chose her because I recently watched the new Wonder Woman movie in the cinema with my family. I really enjoyed this, and I got hit by nostalgia (I used to love old DC cartoons back then). The most challenging part of this drawing is making her face look accurate, just like the reference photo. I did a couple of erases, especially on her cheeks, until it was at least a little similar to the drawing. I personally think I did pretty well in her hair. At first I had so many doubts, but then it turned out to be pretty good. I feel like I can still improve on making her skin a little softer, and making her eyes more accurate. What bothered me most about my drawing is the chin length. The challenges I encountered while drawing her was her left eye. In the reference photo, her face is tilted and the left eye appears slightly the smaller than the right. I solved this problem by being patient and attempting to do it again a few times before I got it right. I still think that there is room for improvement in the eyes and also her hair. I'm not familiar with drawing curly hair, so that was a challenge as well. The shading was also difficult for me to do, as  it varied in different areas of her face due to the lighting.
