She went on to complete pre-med coursework at Columbia University, where she won a number of research awards and published a scholarly article in the Journal of Physical Chemistry. Nadia Al-Aydi earned her bachelor of science with a focus on biological psychology in 1993. Upon graduation, Nadia Al-Aydi found employment as a health care representative with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. She would remain with Pfizer for the next 16 years, working in multiple offices and divisions. She ultimately became a district manager with the Pfizer Multiple Sclerosis/Neuroscience Division in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Pfizer Cardiovascular Division in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
