As well as flows through northern India<br><br>Effects of Himalayan Mountains: A sacred body of water that begins high in the Himalaya Mountain and empties out into the Bay of Bengal. The land around is one of the most fertile and densely populated regions on the planet because of the location in the Mountains.<br><br>What or who benefits from this: More than four hundred million people live in the Ganges River area and it benefits them because the river carries nutrients rich sediments when it flows and deposited fertile soil that allows people to grow food and survive.</div>]]></description>

Everest is one of the highest peaks and the people who live in Himalayan Mountains areas help Mt. Everest climbers with the way they live such as their consistent farming, heading, and trading.<br><br><strong>What or who benefits from this:</strong> People benefit from Mt. Everest because the group Sherpa are given money to help climbers with their past and that group is benefiting from this. It is also such a challenging thing to accomplish. It challenges people physically and mentally.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Paragraph: The population density map of this region would look very different if the Himalayan Mountains didn’t exist for many reasons. If they didn’t exist, the climate would be way colder and harder to survive. Also if the mountains didn’t exist, there wouldn’t be as much fresh water which affects the people living there. If there wasn’t a lot of fresh water it would be much harder for citizens to survive. This is an example of Human-Environment Interaction because the Himalayan Mountains are in their environment and helps them survive in many ways. People are trading and selling and helping other people by showing them how things work.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
