         <description><![CDATA[<p>Booker Washington was Born to a slave in 1856 in Virginia. Booker Washington later went to school and liked it so much he became a teacher. In 1881, Booker Washington founded the Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute in Alabama also known as the Tuskegee University. During years it started to get popular. Its main focus was  on training African Americans in agricultural pursuits such as science, art, and business of cultivating soil, producing crops, and raising livestock; farming. Booker Washington was a hard working person who cared about race equality. He did many speeches to inform people about it. Booker T. Washington remained the head of Tuskegee Institute until his death on November 14, 1915, at the age of 59, of congestive heart failure.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Tuskegee today is an independent and offers students of a higher education.&nbsp; Its programs serve a student body that is coeducational as well as racially, ethnically and religiously diverse. Tuskegee is a division II school in Alabama. Tuskegee continues its educational mission by enrolling 3,156 students. </p>]]></description>
