According to Saussure's,
"each authored statement only becomes possible because the 'author' shares with other language-users the common rules and codes of the language system -the langue- which allows them to communicate with each other meaningfully."

Thus, Saussure saw language as a social phenomenon, as we, the speakers, can't make up the rules and guides of language. That's why Saussure believed that language was born through society, and not from common-sense intuition.

What made Saussure's model appeal scholars was the fact that the closed structured character of language.

"enabled it to be studied scientifically, was combined with the capacity to be free and unpredictably creative in our actual speech acts. "

Adding to this, he also create the theory that society created language, thanks to the fact that we as readers or public, could not make the rules of language but use it and modify it to a certain extent. 

He also created the 2 divisions of language, which are general rules and codes of linguistic system and the particular acts of speaking amd writing, which clearly help authors and the public, that is, us, to have certain guidelines on this subject. It implies that these rules and codes are the social parts of language, and it is preferable that language be studied. The body messages and the colors that they used in the video indirectly hinted at how bad the actual situation the world is in. 

It's really creative how the vide also uses musical tools (as crescendos) to communicate warnings to our unconscious. But he still talks about what he suffers, like the corruption in each country and how he doesn't have an opinion because he speaks Spanish.
