The Vietnam War spanned five presidencies:
Dwight D. Eisenhower (1953-1961) – President Eisenhower sent the first American Military adviser to Vietnam in 1955.
John F. Kennedy (1961-1963)
Lyndon B. Johnson (1963 – 1969)
Richard Nixon (1969 -1974)
Gerald R. Ford (1974 – 1977) – President Ford declared the Vietnam War ended “as far as America is concerned”  (The Vietnam War).
