Parade gathers around 8 a.m. at Our Mother of Consolation.  The parade begins at 9 a.m. there and ends about an hour later at the Chestnut Hill Hotel. 
We need two people to wear the Stag & Doe mascot outfits and two people to be elves.  The elves hold the banner in front of the parade.  We have the elf costumes.The Stag & Doe wave and toss tootsie rolls to the crowd.

    • We are meeting at Deep Roots Charter School from 10 AM - 2 PM on Monday MLK Day of Service. We will be of service to the Deep Roots Community on several levels. 
    • First, we will be cleaning up around the outside of the building. 
    • We will be decorating the cafeteria and stage ( "The Grove")  for Black History Month's celebrations.
    • Groups will be putting together some furniture and moving desks.
    • Our goal - Serve the teachers who serve the community.
    We need: 
    • Gloves
    • Shovels
    • Rakes
    • Contractor bags
    • light tools
    • Deep Roots t-shirts are available. Need sizes.
    • Teens Inc has some gloves and shovels.

    Food will not be provided. HOWEVER, we can get food from a local Dominican restaurant that is delicious, Cibao. Meals are under $10.
