Nice to meet you 💘🥰✨

We introduced ourselves by name, course, and which state we are from. It was very exciting because we got to know each other from different backgrounds.

After that, to make our usrah more exhilarating, we did ice-breaking such as playing a game, that was Truth or Dare. Then, we were introduced to what is USRAH.

We were introduced with hadith Jibril that talked about Islam, Iman, and Ihsan.

Who is Angel Jibril (A.S) ?

What is his work ?

1. ISLAM is to bear witness that:
-None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, & Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah,
-To offer the Solat (five time daily prayers),
-Pay Zakat (annual charity),
-Fast during the month of Ramadan (from sunrise to sunset),
-To make Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) if you are able and have the means to make the journey.

2. What is IMAN?  

3. 'Inform me about IHSAAN.'

4. “Inform me about THE HOUR(Doomsday)."

What I got from that video is if we don't know about something or have any question, we better find someone's who expert about it. We also do not need to be ashamed to find knowledges from someone because when you ashamed you will don't know anything. Furthermore, the easy way to enter Jannah actually through seeking knowledge in this world. Additionally, if we are knowledgeable, we need to share it with the others. Lastly, be grateful of what we got from Allah because Allah knows what is the best for us.

-we will get punish from Allah if we do harm to our neighbours.

-do not do anything that make our neighbours uncomfortable.

-we will enter jannah if we do good to our neighbours.

Adab towards parents :

-it is obligatory for us to be a good children towards our parents.

-everything that we do for our parents should be perfect.

-Allah command us to do ihsan to our parents in this world.

-if we don’t behave with our parents we’re actually committing sin.

Lastly, what can I conclude here is that adab is important in our life. Adab was taught by our Holy Prophet so we need to follow him. Adab make us a better muslim in this world, without adab we will not be a good muslim. 

Our group presentation was actually on week 5, unfortunately, there was a circumstance that can't avoid by Sister Asmaa, so we completely and succeeded in presenting our group presentation on week 6. ^0^

1) Setting the right niyyah. (Intention)
- we need to Ikhlas in whatever we do especially during worship to Allah.
- Having a good niyyah, will lead us to the right path.

2) Applying the right amal. (Practise)
- follow and practice the right sunnah of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.
- can help us to preserve a proper manner as a good Muslim.
- some benefits that we can get from it, representing the real image of Islam, pleasing Allah S.W.T., and showing sincerity to Allah S.W.T.

3) Internalising the Ihsan. (Positive virtues)
- we must practice the ihsan or positive virtues towards people, animal and other creatures.
- if we do the Ihsan in our life, we will get happiness in this world and the hereafter.

What are the benefits that we can from Ibadah?

Ibadah which is the core of Islam:

1. Prayer (Salah)
- we must Ikhlas.
- only afraid to Allah.
- remember Allah everytime and everywhere we are.

2. Fasting (Sawm)
- will reduce our problems in our life.
- have a strong belief or at-Taqwa towards Allah swt.
- avoiding and leaving maksiat and wrongdoings.
- increase obedience to Allah and always be close with Him.

3. Zakah
_ avoid us from being greedy and stingy with the others.
- purify ourselves and our treasure.

4. Pilgrimage (Hajj)
- make ourselves far from prohibited things.
- prevent us from doing maksiat and bad things.
- increase our taqwa to Him.

How to Attain Khusyu’ in Prayer?

1) Niat (intention)
- If someone only prays without having the intention to be khusyu’, then his prayers are just in vain.

2) Remembering death. 
- “Remember death in prayer, for someone who remembers death in his prayer would beautify his prayer.

3) Does not perform the prayer hurriedly and quickly.
- This act without toma’ninah in ruku’ and sujood is forbidden by the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.

4) Understanding the meaning of the verses recited during prayer.
- If a servant knows and understands everything that he recited in his prayer, it will help him in attaining khusyu’. In addition, it is also more appropriate when someone faces Allah s.w.t., so his prayer is not just the movements without understanding anything verses recited.

The prayer has obligatory pillars, which must be fulfilled for it to be valid and these are as follows:

1- " Al-Qiyaam " - prayer is to be performed in a standing position if a person is physically capable.

2- " Takbiiratil lhraam" that is saying "ALLAHU AKBAR" at the commencement of the prayer.

3- " Al-Fatihah " - that is reciting the opening chapter of the Qur'an in every Rakaat.

4- " Rukuu " - this is bowing posture whereby the head and the back are positioned on the same level and both hands are rested on the knees with the fingers spread apart.

5- a requirement to raise the head up from the Rukuu position.

6- a requirement to stand up from the Rukuu position in such a way that the person feels that all his/her backbones are straightened.

7- " Sujuud " that is prostrating oneself in such a way that the following seven parts of the body are firmly placed on the ground: the forehead together with the tip of the nose, both the palms, both the knees, the bottom surface of the toes of both feet.

8- a requirement to raise the head from the Sujuud position.

9- a requirement to sit upright during the pause between the two prostrations.

10- a requirement to take a sitting position for the recitation of the " At-Tashahucl " (words of witness).

11- a requirement to recite the final " At-Tashahud ".

12- a requirement to recite the words of supplication for the Prophet ﷺ.

13- a requirement to conclude the prayer with the words of peace " Tasleem ", i.e. "Assalamu Aleykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barakatuh".

14- a requirement that in fulfilling the above pillars the person should be in a state of tranquility.

What did I get from that video?

The advantages of fasting:
1- Fasting teaches us to be a patient/sabr person 
+ there are 3 types of  sabr; 
-obey to Allah 
-from making things that are forbidden 
-patient when calamity comes
2- Form an attitude of respect for each other
+ avoid hostility
+ eg: people who do not fast should not eat in front of people who are fasting.
3- Makes us loving or compassionate towards others
+ help the others by giving food and drink or in short giving sadaqah to them

* with fasting, we can feel what the poor feel
* cure their grief
* make us a good and better Muslim
* also, increase our piety to Allah.

-Zakat is a cornerstone of Islamic social finance. A tax on wealth and income, zakat (Arabic: azkāt, “that which purifies”) is a type of obligatory alms-giving.

-It is not a charitable donation but the duty of each Muslim who meets the necessary criteria of surplus wealth. Muslims believe that paying zakat purifies, increases, and blesses the remainder of their wealth.

-Al-Quran and Hadith already encourage us to pay zakah and give sadaqah to others.

-Zakah gives many impacts or consequences to someone who is giving, and someone who is receiving. eg: eliminate people's perceptions and a symbol of the unity of the ummah.

*eliminate people's perceptions: when the rich help the poor, it can avoid the poor from being kufr, and both of them eventually eliminate people's bad impressions or perceptions.
*a symbol of the unity of the ummah: it happens when every Muslim helps one another in every aspect.

-When we want to give someone something, we need to make sure that the thing is in good condition. It means that we glorify others.
