We will drink all the drinkable water eventually and we will chop down all the trees and we wont have the oxygen and wood. Some things we can do to help, is preserve our trees and nature, make sure we reuse everything we can. REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE! We should reuse what we can and recycle what we can, including water, we should reuse all the water we can. These things to help save the planet can happen on a huge scale will big companies and presidents or it can happen just will you, in your home. BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE!

Type in your 3 main points to take away from the video.
1. Our atoms in our body are all made of stars and stardust.
2. Our planet is not only beautiful, but it is also fragile, and there is only a thin layer of atmosphere that protects us from the harsh conditions of space. This is why we need to not pollute the atmosphere.
3. In 1968, Apollo went to the moon and when they circled the moon successfully they turned the camera around and showed humans what planet earth looked like from space.

2) What is the Overview effect? The overview effect is the effect that humans (or maybe other species) have when they view the earth from outside inside a spaceship and see the unity and connectedness of the earth.

3) How is Earth like a spaceship? Earth is like a spaceship because it is just a planet going through space, giving passage to all humans through earth's orbit. It is also like a spaceship because we have to protect it just like a spaceship to keep being alive. For example, if we keep destroying the ozone layers in the atmosphere the people of earth will not be able to survive as well.

4) What are the basic requirements for human life on Earth? The basic requirements for human life on earth are food, water, oxygen, trees, (the atmosphere), heat and light from the stars (energy source/temperature). Temperature control, shelter, and a waste control system are also very important. Also, people need communication as well to stay alive.

5) 8/23/18 Will Earth always be able to provide what we need to survive? If yes, how? If no, what will prevent it? I think Earth will not always be able to have those basic requirements. For example, if we continue polluting our environment, we will not get as much protection from harmful gasses, radiation, and we won't have as much oxygen in the atmosphere. Additionally, if that happens, then the earth will become hotter and therefore the average temperature of the earth will be greater.

I say no in the long scheme of things the Sun in the very far future will die, the heat will disappear and orbit would be thrown off. Another reason is overpopulation maybe, because the earth only has so many resources and in many years the human population will be too large for the earth's surface to handle. Now there is another side of this, the earth will most likely supply us long enough to move to other planets before this happens (or not before the human race goes extinct)and we will survive because of the earth.

What are my three main points from the video and how Earth is like a spaceship.
1. The astronauts on the apollo missions spent time just "Earth gazing and seeing space.

2. We all need to work together to keep Earth healthy or we will not survive.
3.The Earth is so colorful and indescribable.
Spaceship Earth
1. Earth is like a spaceship because we are all on it, just hanging in space and have a thin layer of protection from the harshness of space.

2. What is the overview effect. The overview effect is what happens when you look at Earth from up in space and you realize that it is a beautiful planet

What the requirements for human life on Earth?
1. We need a star to provide heat and light. Then, we need protection from space harsh debris and the overpowering rays of the sun. We need atmosphere and weather to cycle water so plants and animals can thrive. We also need oxygen to breathe. 8/23/18 Will Earth always be able to provide what we need to survive? If yes, how? If no, what will prevent it? No, as of now, humans have been cutting down too many trees and we create too much waste. Many more species could die of due to us, and mess up the food chain, and ecosystem. Not only this but a meteor, just like what happened to the dinosaurs, could wipe us out one day.

Humans use resources very quickly. However, we can prevent the using of Earth's resources too fast and save Earth's resources a little longer by reducing, reusing, and recycling. Also, we can stop polluting our air by using eco-friendly ways to producing items.

We can get different materials for shelter.
5. will earth always be able to provide what we need to survive? if yes, how? in no, why?
No I don't think that the Earth will always be able to provide what we need to survive. I think that it will take a long time for us to use all the trees and use all of the resources on Earth, but eventually all the resources will disappear. We might have some materials left, but we keep building new things and cutting down trees, and eating and drinking all day.

Earth has enough resources for our survival, but we are humans. Humans will use up a lot of the earths resources and food. There will be a handful of people that are trying to save the earth but there will be more people who will use up the earths resources. So, the Earth can provide for us, its just that the humans will use a lot of it up.
