2.) How did entrepreneurs help create a market revolution in production and commerce, in which market relationships between producers and consumers came to prevail as the manufacture of goods became more organized?

Entrepreneurs created devices such as the cotton gin, telegraph, steel plow, mechanical reaper, steamboat, and more.
4.) How did legislation and judicial systems support the development of roads, canals, and railroads, which extended and enlarged markets and helped foster regional interdependence?

When the federal government became involved in the development of transportation, roads, railroads, and canals, were able to be built that connect vast expanses of the country- specifically the northern and western territories- thus expanding markets across the country by providing quick, easy transportation of goods. Because the northern and western markets were now so connected, both areas came to depend on one another for their resources and specified products.

Due to the placement of rivers and the Great Lakes canal systems were only able to be set up in the North and Midwest. Additionally, the terrain in these areas was better suited for building railroads and national roads, providing more connections between the North and Midwest than either territory with the South.

Laws began to be passed that protected the rights of the worker, saying the "rights of the community" outweighed any exclusive corporate rights. More liberal state corporation laws were passed, granting investors the benefit of "limited liability" if their companies were sued or went bankrupt. More women were entering the workforce, while traditional women's work was considered superfluous and devalued. Families no longer grew all their own food and produced their own goods. More people worked in factories, or planted just a few crops, selling their goods and buying more from the market.

This is true, as even though it provided some with great prosperity, others were still disadvantaged. Unskilled workers fared the worst. Many would go to big cities in search of any type of menial work. Because there were so many men and women who drifted to cities for these reasons, many were unable to find work.
