In my opinion, I recommend this book to younger people or even to my age. I read this book about three years ago and read it again; I was moved to see Greg's world now that I am a little older.

Loro – Dona Sinhá's pet parrot, who is her great companion and brings joy to her life.

"The Widow and the Parrot" is a story about a widow named Dona Sinhá, who lives in isolation after the death of her husband, having only her parrot Loro as company. The bond between her and the parrot is evidence of a fantastic friendship that provides her with comfort and joy, hope, and the determination to face difficult moments more responsibly. Through this relationship, Dona Sinhá finds the hope and energy to move forward, thus demonstrating that tenderness can heal loneliness and transform life.

In my opinion, I advise people to read this book because they can understand that true friendship is not only with human beings; it can also be with a living being (an animal).

Ali Baba, a poor but humble woodcutter, eventually discovers a hidden cave full of gold and jewels, guarded by forty thieves. "Open Sesame" is what allows him to uncover the treasure. He enters, takes a little of the treasure, and with the quick help of his maid Morgiana, manages to escape from the approaching thieves and live a peaceful and worry-free life.

In my opinion, I think this book teaches a great moral lesson. I recommend people read this book because, despite being an interesting book, it teaches many things.
