         <title>Delaware Indian Tribe </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Delaware tribe lived in Eastern Pennsylvania. The women in the tribe were in charge of growing crop for the tribe while men hunted and fished. They lived in both longhouses and wigwams (pictures of each). They constructed tools for protection, hunting, and farming. The Delaware tribe was separated into clans of 25 and family was very important to them! <br><br><strong>The Homes of the Tribes:<br><br></strong>Wigwams shown below were summer homes for the Delaware Indians. <sub><sup><figure class="attachment attachment--preview"><img src="https://firstnationculturaltours.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/wigwam-001.jpg?w=410&amp;h=307" width="410" height="308"><figcaption class="attachment__caption"></figcaption></figure></sup></sub><br>Longhouses shown below were the winter homes for the Delaware tribes.          <title>Susquehannock Indian Tribe: Economics </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Summary: </strong><br>The Susquehannock tribe lived in Southern Pennsylvania. The tribe was made of a strong group of people who believed in fighting for themselves an being fearless warriors. The Susquehanna River was actually given that name because of this India Tribe living alongside it. This waterway allowed them to always have food and water. They were also able to take part in trading goods by traveling down the river in canoes.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Summary: </strong><br>The Shawnee tribe took up a large part of the central and western portions of Pennsylvania. The tribe was against fighting which lead to them migrating.          <title>Iroquois Indian Tribe </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Summary:<br><br>This tribe was made up of Five Nations the Mohawks, Oneidas, Onondagas, Cayugas, and Senecas. This tribe had a very strong political and military basis behind it, which was unlike any other tribe. This lead to this tribe having a large amount of power over other tribes and caused them to start many wars. Although they were aggressive to other tribes, within the Five Nations they got along great. Following their customs, this tribe always wore specific clothing to make themselves unique. This tribe had leaders who made overall decisions for the group, but no one was seen as above someone else.
