Article 37

I choose this article from the Italian costitution because i belive that sum up perfectly the values of this authors. It talks about how the woman has the right to have EQUAL RIGHTS and REWARDS in comparison with the opposite sex as it should be, but not only that, the function of mother that the women personifies should also be considered. As a generator, she has by nature a very close bond ,that I would call almost carnal ,with one's child and as such has the right to have time to build one of the most significant parts of the affective psychology of the child itself. What better right is due to this new life than to fill the maternal need that has of course? A woman just because she is a worker and a mother shouldn't deprive herself and her child of adequate time just because she has a greater need which is to keep him.
Paid maternity is a right and a duty that every civilized community must guarantee towards the greatest gesture of love that exists: giving life.
