在參觀博物館前，我對中國歷史的認識僅限與課本上的知識，也因課本都是教授戰爭、政策等，讓我認爲中國歷史是十分沉悶的。不過，故宮文化博物館沒有講述課本上的知識，而是通過紫禁城的文物介紹古代帝后在故宮的生活，從而對古代的服裝、宗教、文化等瞭解更深。在我看來，這些沒有被納入課本範圍裏的野史也是中國歷史中的一部分。
在參觀博物館的過程中，我把自己帶入成了紫禁城中一名嬪妃，見識到了帝后奢華的生活。那些青花瓷製品不少做工精細，毫無瑕疵，除了讓我不禁驚嘆宮廷對手工製品的要求是多麽的嚴格外，也讓我意識到古代中國也擁有先進的手工藝技術。
