1. During Summer, make sure your ceiling fans are spinning counter clockwise. This will bring the room temp down a couple degrees. The switch on the fan should be in the down position and vice versa for the winter time.

2. Please do not dump grease or any food down the drains. This can affect your down stairs neighbor and eventually backing up the building.

3. Please pick up after your pets.

4. Do not leave any trash in the hallways or stairwell

5. Please remove any personal items from Gazeebos when you are done. This allow the contractor to fully clean the Gazeebos properly since they cannot touch personalize items.

6. Please do not bring shopping carts from the commissary to the towers. This is an inconvenience for housing contractors and the commissary staff.

7. The air flow program will be back nex summer time! If you need us to measure your airflow please reach out to housing!

• Visit the Housing Management Office in B600, Room 101 and pick up a Home Based

Business application. You can also request it by email at 51ces.ceihh.housing@us.af.mil or scan Q/R code ont e cover page located above. The packet explains how to obtain approval for your home business. You will need to complete the application request stating in detail what your business will entail, where you will purchase/attain your supplies, how you plan to advertise, or any special consideration for your specific business. Be sure to attach a copy of applicable license(s) or certificate(s).

Remember that a home business is considered off-duty employment. Military members

wishing to engage in any off-duty employment must complete an AF Form 3902. This form can be obtained at your orderly room. Please ensure the letter is as detailed as possible.

You will also need to read and sign the postal box usage letter and return both to the Housing Flight. They will be forwarded electronically to the appropriate offices and to 51st Civil Engineer Squadron for final approval.

Once your letter is approved:

• A copy of the approved letter will be kept at the Housing Office and emailed to you.

If you wish to advertise on bulletin boards around base, you must bring your flyers to the Housing Office for approval.

Why do individuals need to register for an on-based home business:

• All individuals interested in a home business must register the business to heighten

participants/customers and become aware of the legal ramifications of establishing a home business, whether you live on or off base; we’re in a foreign country governed by a Status of Forces Agreement. Everyone is not familiar with the regulations that pertain to commercial or home business operations. By acquiring an approval letter or registering to operate a business, we can provide you with pertinent knowledge so you, as a home business operator, are aware of your responsibilities.
