Drugs and chemical teratogens include drugs and chemicals that a pregnant woman ingests. Things like alcohol, cocaine, lead and mercury. Exposure to teratogenic drugs can cause developmental delays, miscarriages, or congenital malformations. Teratogens are harmful no matter how far along you are in your pregnancy but the risk is higher in the first 8 weeks.

"It can be a bug but say no to drugs!" I would advertise this campaign to teenagers starting in high school as saying no to drugs is also something you should be doing regardless if you are pregnant or not. I would also advertise this on social media such as Instagram or Facebook. It is important to raise awareness about this teratogen because not only are drugs and ingesting chemicals bad for women and their fetus, it is bad for everyone. Drugs can lead to health problems, injury or accidents, miscarrieges and developmental delays in woman who are pregnant and using.
