         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Realism</strong> was a literary movement whose authors described life as they saw it, instead of how they imagined or wanted it to be. <strong>regionalism</strong> is defined as a political will to create a formal arrangement among states on a geographically restricted basis. <strong>Regionalism</strong>, was related to Realism. <strong>Regionalism authors portrayed the specific traits of particular regions or areas of the</strong> United States. The main focus for Regionalist writers  <strong>focuses</strong> on the characters, dialect, customs, topography, and other features particular to a specific region.   </div>]]></description>

It was the second <strong>Industrial Revolution</strong> in the 1850s that had its <strong>impact</strong> on the <strong>Realistic</strong> phenomenon. Truthful vision of modern life, everyday figures and object are rendered in a <strong>realistic</strong> manner. <br>The Civil War impact the literary time period by organizing division in American literary history. The critics Christopher Hager and Cody Marrs recently noted, 1865 has provided a nearly unquestioned periodization for students, teachers, and scholars of American literature. <br>The Progressive Era was a period of widespread social activism and political reform across the United States, from the 1890s to 1920s. </div>]]></description>

Realism and Romanticism explain how they want life to be. They both pain their own picture and imagine what life would be like in their eyes. </div>]]></description>
