Effective communication appears to be instinctual. But, all too often, something goes wrong when we try to communicate with others. We say the same thing, but the other person hears something completely different, resulting in misconceptions, frustration, and conflict. This can disrupt your relationships at home, school, and work. More than just exchanging information is required for effective communication. It is necessary to comprehend the emotion and intentions underlying the information. In addition to being able to clearly convey a message, you must also be able to listen in such a way that you grasp the full meaning of what is being said and make the other person feel heard and understood.

Fretche Cala Sabal
BSEd English-lll

My impression of Effective communication is all about understanding and respecting the other person's point of view. It's about being clear, concise, and honest no matter how difficult it might be. To make our communication effective one have to be a good listener first because a good listener is a good speaker. Communication is a two way process where exchanging of any thoughts, ideas and feeling takes place between two person. During communication process speakers send their thoughts and ideas to speaker and receiver receive those message, if receiver is not alert or a good listener then he/she may interpret the message in the wrong way which will lead the conversation in the wrong way. Communication is a vast topic which can’t be just explain in just a paragraph many thing are responsible for a successful communication. During communication many types of barriers come along, which can lead the conversation in the wrong direction.

Communicating among people can benefit us a lot of ideas and meaning in this world . Effective communication, whatever of its form, is clearly interactive not simply one-sided because as what the reporter said that it can lead war , broken relationships and misunderstanding . Communication is the process of conveying and receiving information between people at its most fundamental level. The delivery might be vocal or written, and it takes place through spoken words and text messages. Another essential type is visual clues, which include body placement, gestures, and facial expressions. Communication is essential to our success in relationships and as a citizen of our country, and throughout your life. Our life gets older and older our ability to communicate is based on experience, and while experience can be a good instructor, the said "communication will provide us with a good experiences gathered from experienced speakers over the course of other peoples experience. We can benefit from their experiences and become a more successful communicator right away.

As in all aspects of personal and professional life, having effective communication is a key element of success. Effective communication can benefit your relationships with people. By conveying your message and integrating them as a member of the team and not just a subordinate leads to better production. By effectively communicating you can clearly define job responsibilities and expectations. The better you are able to communicate the less likely organizational turnover of personnel will occur. Supervisors and leaders in the professional workplace find that the most important factor in advancement and retain ability is effective communication. Senior level executives and human resources managers are stressing the importance of communication and providing more training for mid-level management. Emphasis is placed on communication being clear by being transmitted strongly. Successful Communication is the conveying and understanding of a message from one person to another. For communication to be effective, the meaning must be easily understood. An individual 's communicative success relies on factors that include speaking, reading, listening, and reasoning skills.

Through communication we will be able to explain our side especially during argument, communication must be presence. But when we look to the other side communication can also cause chaos . Although we have to be careful in communicating because it is very useful nowadays. In communication you can be a sender of message or the receiver. But overall we have to be aware in communicating to someone , someone that is very sensitive with words.

Better production results from communicating your message and integrating them as a team member rather than a subordinate. You can clearly outline job tasks and expectations by communicating properly. The better you communicate, the lower the likelihood of organizational staff turnover. Effective communication is the most crucial aspect in professional progress and retention, according to supervisors and leaders. The most crucial aspect is communication.

As a student and as a member of the society where I am currently residing, effective communication plays an enormous role into my daily life. It is simply because I can express and share everything I see, smell, taste, hear, and feel to my friends, to my family, and to other people. Whether they are around me or far from me, I could still communicate with them as long as I use my common sense along with my communicative skills into reaching out with them. Communication works best when the expressing and sharing of opinions are mutual. I can also use communication to inspire the youth to become better and become successful in the future. The simple act of supporting them and being with them especially when their days are dark inspires them to grow more and more each day knowing that they have somebody by their side. Another thing is also their upbringing in life. No matter how negative their perspectives in life are, as long as you are a powerful speaker and follows the basic methods of effective communication, it will surely motivate them. Communicating effectively means that your ideas and concepts are being heard and people are acting upon them. It also means you are able to listen, understand, and take action on what other people say. Effective communication is about more than just exchanging information. It’s about understanding the emotion and intentions behind the information. As well as being able to clearly convey a message, you need to also listen in a way that gains the full meaning of what’s being said and makes the other person feel heard and understood.

Personally, effective communication comes with various factors to consider because effective communication is more than just merely exchanging information. It's all about deciphering the emotion and motivations underlying the information. You must be able to clearly communicate a message as well as listen in such a way that you grasp the entire meaning of what is being said and make the other person feel heard and understood. Because there are so many more ways to interact today, good communication is harder than in the past. You'd think that making your point would be easier, but that's not the case. The alternatives are endless with texting, email, instant messaging, and cell phones. Keeping track of and responding to so many sources make the process more difficult. With so many more options for communicating, it's critical to pick your words carefully because things can easily be misunderstood. If you're unsure about a message, ask for clarification to avoid any misunderstanding. Maintain your focus and pay attention to understand.

Effective communication occur when two or more person communicate with each other. If you know how to listen , interact, and pay attention with others ,then we can be a good communicator. We all knew that communication is the vehicle of communicating with others that may include your friends, brothers, sisters, relatives, and to all people in the world. With different languages English, Filipino, Chinese ,Japanese, so on so forth. These different people [ including myself] are using language to communicate people in/out of our society. Having different cultures, beliefs, and traditions are need to have a good communication in order to understood with each other, since we are not the only man living in this universe people should learn how to communicate with others. Moreover, it was true that in communicating we need to be responsible enough by our thought/ words in order to avoid hurting others as tongue is deadly weapon and very poisonous that can cause someone to be hurt or evoke the emotion of anger, sad, an anxiety. As a future educator you must be a good communicator to your student as well as other people surround you, so that you will know how to handle diversity in the class in and outside world.

As well as being able to clearly convey a message, we need to also listen in a way that gains the full meaning of what’s being said and makes the other person feel heard and understood.

The key for effective communication and getting things done from others is to understand what the other person wants to listen. This key can be applied anywhere starting from bargaining to buy things or getting papers signed from a professional, or handling family matters. If we will yell out our anger and start explaining it later, its not going to help us at all, nobody is going to be persuaded. The key is to listen to their problems , then find out what we want them to do, now manipulate the situation as per our needs. This technique will require us to be very patient, calm and tolerant, because many times dealing with tough person gets difficult.

I can really conclude that we cant change how people think by yelling at them, and if we start arguing, we will only worsen the situation.People are slave to their habits, their perspective, and their way of thinking, So it is next to impossible for us to change them in few minutes or in few conversations. Let's be patient and talk to them in their language. If we are polite and treat them with respect, they will not become defensive, and they will try to compromise for us as per our manipulations. Let's aim to communicate on an equal basis and avoid patronizing people. We shall not talk about others behind their backs. Instead, let's understand our own emotions as well as of the person with whom we are communicating.

Some, thinks that communication is simply saying things they want to express. But communication is more than that. To communicate properly, there are numerous factors that we should consider for us to voice out, appropriately. We have to be literate to the things that we want to share. Don't be the type of person who utter things which are invalid. Think before you say something. Avoid ambiguous words, phrases or statement. Use the right words to your context for you to not cause confusion to your listener. Also, if you want to become a good communicator, you have to be a good listener too. Plus, make sure to know the language or how your audience does communication, so it will be easier for you to fit in and to gather their attention.

Remember that it's vital in communication to have interaction. Don't just focus on stating your speeches. Make sure to do some literal conversation, wherein there is a presence of asking and answering. Through this, you're not just sharing your speech, rather, you're also doing socialization to which is necessary for an effective communication. Moreover, doing communication isn't just about the accuracy of content, proper words to use, knowing your audience or even speaking with proper intonation and pronunciation. Facial expression and some physical gestures are aspects of having efficient communication too. Projection of right body language is an accessible and advantageous manner for someone who's having speech. Finally, as someone who's been into doing some stage plays or even hosting, two significant aspects we should learn to do before our schedule to do a speech is, mastery and confidence. Master your speech through memorizing and knowing your cues. Then do have the confidence, because you're about to let others witness your potentials.

You're a terrific communicator because of your body language, eye contact, tone of voice, and ability to listen to others. A kind grin and the ability to provide genuine praises go a long way toward gaining others' respect. All of these are examples of lasting first impressions. People's communication can be affected by their first impressions.
So, if the first information we acquire from or about a person is positive, we will establish a positive first impression of that person, which will influence how we respond to them as the interaction progresses. Similarly, unfavorable information interpretations can contribute to negative initial impressions. Making sure that people see the best of you from the start will not only make those connections and interactions simpler, but it will also make better communication.
-Juvelyn Gutierrez

The word communication is basically a process of interaction with the people and their environment. Through such type of interactions, two or more individuals influence the ideas, beliefs, and attitudes of each other.
Effective communication provides a foundation for trust and respect to grow. It also helps better understand a person and the context of the conversation. For me, effectively communicating to other people ensures that you not only convey your message to someone but also let them know your emotions and how you feel towards them. And the most important aspect of communication is listening. I do believe that when you are listening attentively to someone who's speaking to you will let the speaker feel that they are being heard and will give them the courage to open up and share more about their ideas without hesitating. And also, successful listening is not just about understanding spoken or written information but also an understanding of how the speaker feels during communication. Proper communication by someone will also help you to solve a number of issues and resolve problems without . We may notice that communication appears effortless, most two people discuss gets misunderstood, thus leading to conflicts and distress. Well we all know that in order for us to communicate we need a speaker and a listener. So to communicate effectively,we should always respect the ideas, thoughts, opinions and knowledge of other people. And lastly, always listen and be careful for the words that you are using when speaking , be careful of how you react ,how you look at other people and the tone of your voice when you are speaking to avoid arguments because of misinterpretation and misundersanding.

"Good communication is the bridge between confusion and clarity". That's shows how important good communication is. We need to develop it and strives to foster it, it is because it is an essential tool in achieving harmonious relationships, productivity and maintaining strong working relationship whatever level of organization or what social group you belong. With good communication you can freely express your thoughts, your perceptions and you will be able to build friendships. Good communication will not just let you understand people but also for you to be understood. People who invest time and energy delivering clear lines of communication will rapidly build up levels of trust amongst each other, leading to an increase in healthy relationships. It must be each other's goal to improve and enhance their communication.
Furthermore, when speaking the speaker must deliver the message clearly. Ensuring that your message is clear and accessible to your intended audience is very important. To do this effectively, one must speak plainly and politely, getting your message across clearly without causing confusion or offense. And most importantly, in an effective/ good communication, not because you are the speaker you will do all the talking. You must also know how to listen and show empathy. This is because communication is a two-way process and no group or individual will survive long if it doesn't listen and encourage a dialogue with the other party. Listening shows respect and allows you to learn of any outstanding issues you may need to address and for you to learn from other people. As noted by Paul J. Meyer, " Good communication is the human connection. It is the key to personal and career success".

Every single languages are derived from unique individual cultures and forms of life; from ancestors to generations. Humans serve as tools to transmit languages therefore we must use it effectively in terms of communicating with other people and flourishing it as time goes by.
Effective communication is important in our everyday endeavors as we communicate anytime, anywhere. If we fail to communicate appropriately, we tend to be misunderstood and confusion might cause commotion.

With that being said, effective communication creates a bridge of harmonious relationship among people within the society. Sometimes, being effective doesn't have to be too opinionated or verbal, there are some instances that being silent is more effective in keeping good relationship between acquaintances. The more you talk, the more you can hurt others. The less you speak, the less damage you will create. Therefore I conclude, that effective communication can either make or break a society.

Effective communication is about more than just exchanging information. It's important to comprehend the motivations and feelings that underlie the information. You must be able to speak clearly and listen clearly in order to fully understand what is being said and to make the other person feel heard and understood. We frequently concentrate on what we ought to say when speaking with people. However, listening is more important for good communication than talking. Understanding the words or the information being delivered is only one aspect of listening well, other is comprehending the feelings the speaker is attempting to express on how they share the story. You'll also experience a process that reduces stress and promotes mental and emotional well-being when you communicate in this way. For instance, if the person you're speaking to is calm, you'll feel more at ease if you listen actively. Toward it you might help them get calmer by giving them the impression that you are paying attention and that you understand them
