Santa Clarita has paved streets, sewer lines, and school sites just like Levittown did many years ago (Levittown). The two communities look very similar in their designs, because Santa Clarita took a lot of ideas from Levittown. Also, all the houses look very similar and often have the same structures in Santa Clarita and the original Levittown (Levittown video). These communities don't have very unique looking housing, but they are still very nice houses. The crime rate in the original Levittown was very low, which is how Santa Clarita is too (Levittown). Suburban areas normally have much lower crime rights than the inner city. Also, the people living in both of these communities are  in the middle to upper class (Levitt of Levittown). This is because of the cost of the homes, even though they are pretty reasonable, you have to have a pretty good amount of money to afford these homes. Also, in the original Levittown, trees were planted at a rate of one every twenty-eight feet (Levittown). This is very similar to Santa Clarita as trees are planted at a specific rate away from each other. They might argue that the original Levittown had a whites-only policy, which is a lot different than Santa Clarita (At 50, Levittown Contends With Its Legacy of Bias). While this is very true, every other aspect of Santa Clarita is very similar, and even sometimes almost identical to aspects of the original Levittown. This is only one aspect of the communities that is different, which doesn't keep them from being very similar.
