Exciting news! If you’ve walked or biked to school recently, you might have noticed something new and shiny at the crosswalks near our school. That's right—our neighbourhood just got brand-new traffic lights!

Why the Change?

Our school zone has been super busy lately, with lots of kids and parents crossing the street at the same time. The new traffic lights are here to help everyone stay safe. They’ll make sure that cars stop when they need to, so it’s easier for us to cross the street without any worries.

How Do They Work?

Here’s the scoop on how these new lights are going to help:

• Red Means Stop: When the light is red, cars will stop, just like they would at any other traffic light.
