Personal Goal:
Striving to balance academic, personal, and spiritual growth, and working towards becoming a better version of myself guided by Islamic values

• As an economics student, I aim to contribute to my country by promoting economic fairness and opportunities for everyone, particularly the underprivileged.

• I want to use my knowledge to implement policies that align with Islamic values of justice, equity, and charity.

• My goal is to help build a society where everyone has access to the resources they need to live a dignified life, in accordance with the teachings of Islam.

Reflection

• Through my participation in Usrah, I have gained a deeper understanding of key Islamic teachings, such as the importance of good manners in seeking knowledge, the Quran as guidance, and the pillars of faith.

• This has inspired me to strengthen my relationship with Allah and consistently apply these teachings in my daily life.

• Attending Usrah regularly has also allowed me to connect with fellow Muslims, fostering a sense of community and unity.

• The bond of brotherhood (Ukhuwah) has become clearer to me, and I now realize the importance of supporting one another in faith.

• I am committed to continuing my journey of learning, growing spiritually, and nurturing meaningful relationships with others.

1. Khalifah (Stewardship) - Humans are entrusted as stewards of the Earth (Quran 2:30).

2. Mizan (Balance) - Islam promotes balance in nature and human activities (Quran 55:7-9).

3. Avoiding Israf (Wastefulness) - Overconsumption and waste are discouraged (Quran 7:31).

4. Ethical Resource Use - Resources should be used responsibly and fairly.

5. Sadaqah & Zakat - Wealth distribution reduces economic and environmental inequality.

6. Eco-Friendly Practices - Sunnah encourages tree planting and water conservation.

7. Halal & Tayyib - Sustainability in food and lifestyle choices.

8. Accountability (Akhirah) - Actions affecting the environment have consequences in the Hereafter.

And of course, brother Ziqry is the coolest naqib ever!

• Salah (Prayer):
  Based on Surah Al-‘Ankabūt (29:45) – Salah prevents immorality and wrongdoing, shaping a disciplined and ethical character.

• Ṣawm (Fasting):
  Based on Surah Al-Baqarah (2:183) – Fasting cultivates taqwā (God-consciousness) and strengthens willpower.

• Zakāh (Charity):
  Based on Surah Al-Tawbah (9:103) – Purifies the wealth and soul, promoting generosity and reducing greed.

• Ḥajj (Pilgrimage):
  Based on Surah Al-Baqarah (2:197) – Teaches patience, equality, and commitment to obeying Allah under all circumstances.

• Ṭahārah (Purification):
  Includes Wuḍū’ and Tayammum; essential to physically and spiritually prepare oneself for prayer.

• Conditions for Ṣaḥ (validity) of Ṣalāh:
  Includes purity, covering the ʿaurah, facing the qiblah, and observing prayer at the correct time.

• Pillars of Ṣalāh:
  These include niyyah, takbiratul ihram, qiyām (standing), rukūʿ (bowing), sujūd (prostration), and tashahhud.

• Application of Ṣalāh in different situations:
  Such as Qaṣr and Jamaʿ during travel, performing nawāfil (optional prayers), and adaptations during illness.

• Al-Ṭāʿah (Obedience):
  Salah nurtures loyalty and total submission to Allah's commands.

• Al-Jihād (Struggle):
  Salah is a daily effort against laziness and distractions, reflecting one’s commitment to spiritual struggle.

• Muḥāsabah (Self-reflection):
  Time in prayer allows self-assessment and reflection on one’s deeds and intentions.

• ʿIffah (Modesty):
  Regular prayer develops restraint from immoral behavior and cultivates dignity.

• Tawaḍḍuʿ (Humility):
  Prayer reminds us of our dependence on Allah, fostering humility in action and thought.

• Ṣabr (Patience):
  Fasting strengthens the ability to endure hunger, thirst, and desires, promoting discipline.

• Takrīm (Respect):
  Fasting encourages polite and respectful behavior, especially in speech and interaction.

• Raḥmah (Compassion):
  Experiencing hunger and thirst develops empathy for those in need, encouraging kindness.

• Al-Taḍḥiyyah (Sacrifice):
  Hajj involves physical and financial sacrifices, building perseverance and devotion.

• Taqwā (God-Consciousness):
  The journey of Hajj instils continuous awareness of Allah, fostering obedience and sincerity in daily life.

• Tawakkul (Reliance on Allah):
  Giving away wealth teaches trust that Allah will provide and increase sustenance.

• Ukhuwwah (Brotherhood):
  Sharing wealth with others strengthens bonds within the community and promotes unity.

First and foremost, I would like to thank you sincerely for your time, guidance and dedication throughout our usrah sessions. Your effort in sharing knowledge and reminding us of the values found in our deen truly means a lot.

I make dua that Allah continues to bless you with wisdom, strength, and sincerity in your journey of da‘wah. May He make you among those who are loved by Him and constantly guided in all your efforts.

May Allah reward you abundantly in both this world and the hereafter.
