I agree with this book review but would love to add more about how Audrey is filled with emotion and trying to get that message across. Her parents have not been getting along throughout the book yet she keeps a happy face and is out finding love with Seth. "Adrian (Like It Never Happened) creates a relatable heroine and a colorful cast of minor characters," I like this sentence from the review the best for it portrays what this book is really like. Yet it neglects to mention that it shows the struggle of life as a teen, not everything is as good as it seams in life. I think this review could have gone a little more in depth of what this book is really about.

Every page there is a new minor conflict wrapped up into one bigger one, life. It keeps the story going and edges you on to read more and more. Most of these are Character vs. self or Character vs world. Such as when Audrey preforming CPR to another girl on the beach is video taped and goes viral on the internet. She has always lived a quite life but now everyone knows who she is, and not all the comments are nice among the people in the world. As well as Audrey questioning her choices that has lead her into the life she leads now, she wants nothing more than to be happy but is conflicted of what will make her happy. An amazing job or a life with Seth? Audrey has to make these choices before one is no longer an option.

This is one of the most important quotes in the whole book, it shows that not everything has good odds yet you try anyways. Audrey, unsure if she could pull this off and save a life had to try anyways, putting all her effort it even and not just giving up. If she had given up, waited for help, Camron would have died. This is my favorite quote for it reinforces the fact that you can't succeed if you don't try. So much meaning can be put into quotes if you know where to look. This quote is played out all the way through the book and helps Audrey make choices, helps her be that three%.

This is an image of crescent bay where Audrey lives in a small town, right near the coast. At a beach is where her whole journey started, where she first saved the life of a teenage girl. Audrey had been considering taking a job at a nursing home to work night shifts and this did it for her. She was on the beach just having a good time when someone from her school started drowning, someone saved her yet she needed CPR. Audrey, unsure if she could do it stepped up and saved her life. After that someone had taken a video of it and it went viral. Kicking off many changes in her life one by one, it was the starting point as well as the end.

Response to cover picture: I think the cover does not show what the book is about, that it's more of just an eye catcher with pretty colors. As you can see in the picture above there is a girl being lead away to the beach by a male. Audrey never did anything she did want to, they almost never went to the beach after the traumatic event she had early in the book.

As well as all the pink in the cover, they could have picked a color that was more to the book such as Seth's eye color (light brown) or Audrey's (blue) for that mater. I think the cover should have been more symbolic such as a crowed beach or an empty road, Audrey went great distances to her dreams and to Seth.
