The South Korean flag is old being created in 1882 having a very important meaning behind it. Their is also a name for the flag in the South Korean Language being "aegeukgi (태극기, 太極旗)". The flag stands for the three components of the nation being the land (white background), the people (the red and blue circle in the middle of the flag) and the government (the four sets of black bars on the outer of the flag). The flag is very important to the Korean people and citizens due to it embodying the vision of the South Korean people and to seek for creation and enrichment. The South Koreans are also very patriotic due to the significance of the flag to them.

This is Seoul, the capital city of South Korea and the most populous city in South Korea with around 10 million people living there. Seoul is very close to the border of North Korea (DMZ) (De-Militarized zone) with it only being around 50 kilometers. Seoul is also a massive exporter in goods and services being among one of the largest cities in that field and as a whole country coming in 7th biggest for exports in the world. Seoul also has a major shipping port which is one of the main ones in South Korea where they send out and export all sorts of different things. Seoul, South Korea is also comparable to Sydney in terms of tourism, popularity and also trade. The population difference between the two cities is only 3 million and also have direct flights between the two cities. Seoul's nightlife is also comparable to Sydney being ranked one of the best in the world, overall having very similar qualities as a nation and a city.

Sydney is Australia's largest city and is comparable to places like Seoul, South Korea. Sydney will soon to be overtaken by Melbourne but for now remains the largest city in the country and also the most popular by population, tourism, economy and trade. Sydney is also known for it's iconic land marks such as the Harbor Bridge, Opera House and botanic gardens. Sydney also has a great trade relation with South Korea including both imports and exports of multiple and diverse goods and services. Sydney is also well known for their harbor and quay (Circular quay) with heaps of boats entering often. Sydney's shipping port for exports and imports is not located here and is instead located in Botany Bay opposite the international airport. Sydney also has access to direct flights to South Korea (Seoul) making the relationship with the two cities even better and making it much easier and accessible to get between the two cities.

This here is the second largest city Busan. Busan is quite similar to the main city Seoul due to its infrastructure and architecture of the city. The bridge lit up in this photo is called the Gwangan Bridge and is actually a very well known bridge one of the first things that come up when you think of Busan. Busan is also quite comparable with Melbourne unlike Seoul due to it's popularity with tourism and also it's night life on which is very busy and prominent.

Melbourne is Australia's second largest city and soon to be the largest in the nation. Melbourne is located on Port Philip bay a very large bay meaning it is beneficial for shipping imports and exports all around the world and especially for South Korea. The bay is 35 times larger than Sydney Harbor already giving Melbourne an edge over Sydney in that regard not to mention the shipping port itself being over twice as larger than Sydney's. Melbourne is known for their cultural diversity, one of the most livable cities in the world and also not only the sporting capital of Australia but in fact the sporting capital of the entire Southern Hemisphere of the world.

This is a Korean Barbeque (BBQ) and is commonly referred to the national dish of South Korea. Although, this is not one dish itself most people do refer to this as being one of or if not the traditional dish of the country. Korean BBQ is also very popular internationally too, with multiple stores set up here in Melbourne and also in numerous other locations not only around Australia but in lots of other countries globally as well. Korean Barbeque mainly consists of Meat (Beaf) and also plenty of other sides that you would see in an Australian BBQ for example as well as some other traditional Korean dishes. Another thing which is very special and unique to Korean BBQ is that you get to cook it yourself on your own grill at your table (At least from my experience).

Milo is a product made by Nestle which also makes multiple other things such as Uncle Toby's, Nesquick, Cheerios and more. Milo is very basic just being a chocolate flavored malted powder which you add to milk to make. Milo can be consumed in a few ways most commonly being a "hot milo or a cold milo". Having it hot is similar to a Hot Chocolate whereas having it cold is just more like a chocolate milkshake in a way. Milo is very healthy containing, 9 essential vitamins and minerals, milk powder, malt barley, cocoa and sugar with also it being a source of protein. Milo is also considered as a breakfast food/beverage like vegemite. Milo was created at around a similar era to vegemite being developed and produced in the year 1934. Milo was invented in Sydney as well.

This is Vegemite commonly known as one of Australia's national dishes. Vegemite is very well known on a global standpoint/stage and is used on numerous things mainly as a "spread" on bread/toast. Vegemite is also commonly used as a breakfast spread for Aussie's on Toast however, Vegemite has lately started to been used more on different things such as pizza, BBQ shapes (another Australian snack) and more. Vegemite is also one of my favorite "foods" which is quite common across Aussie kids as most kids would have grown up with it being apart of mine and others culture as a child. Vegemite was invented in Melbourne in 1923 meaning it has been around for a very long time. Vegemite is also comparable to British Marmalade however tastes nothing alike. Vegemite is what's known as a yeast product or yeast extract and is overall distinctively and Aussie product.

The stars represent the southern cross which is a constellation and pattern of stars in the milky way galaxy. The commonwealth star symbolizes our federation of states and territories and the crosses stand for the principles of which our nation is based such as the Parliamentary Democracy, Rule of the Law and Freedom of Speech. The Indiginous flag on the other hand is important for the first people of the land who used to own the land before the English came to Australia. The Indiginous flag represents multiple things similar to the Australian flag used currently. The black on the flag represents the Aboriginal people, the red represents the Earth and the color of ochre used in the indiginous ceremonies. The yellow then means the sun and the consent renew of life.

Hi My name is Will and I am a Student at Luther College which is a School located in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne Metropolitan in Victoria, Australia. I have lived in Melbourne for my entire life (bit over 14 years) and some of my passions are; Basketball, Gym and AFL (Aussie rules football).
