When in school we were often given the opportunity to talk with local sports heroes. One being Joe Calzaghe is from my local area. This often encourages pupils to believe they can achieve similar success no matter where they come from. It’s also always great to see the mining history of the local areas, all the way up until the 1980s to understand the importance of our Welsh culture
