         <title>Maintaining Standards of Classroom Behavior</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>An effective teacher will be able to maintain standards of classroom behavior, by enforcing the expectation set by the teacher. <br><br>“The goal of real discipline is to help students become self-disciplined” (Charles, 2014, p. 81).&nbsp; Ron Morrish introduces the idea of <em>Real Discipline </em>in the classroom.&nbsp; He urges teachers to take a straightforward, preventative approach to discipline.&nbsp; He does not believe students should have input in creating classroom rules because they are not mature enough, nor do they know how a classroom should be setup to run efficiently.&nbsp; He stressed the idea of creating clear classroom rules, that are worded in what students should do, rather than what they should not do.&nbsp; Morrish (2014) states, “teachers should clearly communicate what they expect of students and then accept nothing less” (p. 80).&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
