We were very lucky to have Dr Kilfeather come into our class today and tell us all about her job as a GP. She explains what she does and who she’s sees, while telling us how to look after our bodies!

For friendship, we did a flower exchange. We made flowers from paper and designed how our friend would like it to be done. There is nothing nicer than receiving flowers.

Primary 3 worked in groups to create a poster based on the Eatwell Guide. Each child was given a specific role, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.

P4W have enjoyed some relaxing and creative moments in our Mindful Origami activities this week. We made boats, jumping frogs and lots of different animals. Many children experimented with origami at home too!

With the help of Kings Camps we were working on our teamwork and stamina. They pupils all had such fun with parachute games and jumping bean. A big thank you to Kings Camps for coming in and playing with us.

P3 was learning all about dental hygiene and how to look after their teeth properly. Dr Rubiro answered all of the questions and even brought toothbrush’s and toothpaste for us to bring home!

We were lucky to have a pharmacist come into school and teach us the importance of medication and how to take it safely. We learnt so much and why certain medications work and why other don’t.

The children had fun playing this game. This activity focussed on listening attentively to instructions to beat your opponent by being the first to pick up the cone when instructed to do so.
