         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>the time where the diseases happened 1558-1603.</li><li>The Black Death that had smallpox, typhus and malaria were a few of the major diseases of the Elizabethan Era. </li><li>The physicians had to deal with mothers passing away during birth, and the white make-up poisoning  the upper class woman. </li><li>The worst case of smallpox was in 1562 two years before Shakespeare was born, when Queen Elizabeth was 29 she got smallpox although she recovered she  was left completely bald and she had to wear a thick layer of make-up made of white lead and egg whites. </li></ul><div><br><br><br><a href="http://www.shakespeare-online.com/biography/londondisease.html">http://www.shakespeare-online.com/biography/londondisease.html</a></div>]]></description>
