What this chart shows is distribution of deaths by leading cause group, males and female, in the world, in 2014;

3. I’d like to pick up three pieces of information. The first is that by far the major cause of deaths is Cardiovascular diseases. The second is unintentional injuries, but the proportion of men is greater than woman. The third is diabetes mellitus.

4. The main thing I want to highlight here is that maternal conditions are the minimum percent of total deaths, and it only exists in female.

Homework P51

A number of writers have discussed the advantages and disadvantages of teaching genre analysis for academic writing. Hammond and Macken-Horarick (1999), for example, observed that teaching different genres helps student to understand texts and be more successful writers, and Christie and Martin (1993) both agreed that disadvantaged students in particular need to be taught academic genres in order to be successful at school and university. In addition, Swales (2000) in favor of teaching genres, but argued that students need to be given ways of bringing their own ideas to academic texts. On the other hand, some authors think there are many disadvantages. Such as Luke (1996) claimed that teaching academic genres can lead students to produce formulaic writing – they reproduce the model texts they are taught without thinking about them. Another example, Hyon (2001) warned that students need to be careful not to overgeneralize about genres i.e. to apply what they have leant about one genre to another. Beside this there are some authors’ opinions that are neutral, researched teacher’ view found that most said a genre approach provided useful framework for teaching, but discovered that many concerned that it was too prescriptive. (Kay and Dudley-Evans, 1998, p308-14)

P78 (9.2)

It has been pointed out (Goudie and Viles, 1997) that we clearly recognize that the modern environment is controlled by humans. This is reflected in three aspects. First, people destroy the environment in different ways; following that, some regional issues have spread to global issues; and finally, human influence on the environment has become more and more complex, and the frequency and magnitude have been increasing.

P84 (1.2)

The growth of a child is influenced by the natural environment and human-made education. Genes and experience are very important parts of learning growth. Genes determine some of your physical factors, such as intelligence, a certain talent, hair color, and most of the capacity influences environment, children learn to act by observing and imitating others. Their ways of speaking and responding are also influenced by the surrounding factors, but there are also some behaviors that come from their own consciousness. As children grow up, they must also consider some issues of survival competition.

P89 (6.4)a
In general, genes and the environment are important components that affect the child's growth. In other words, our behavior is not only affected by the potential consciousness but also by the acquired education. Although congenital genes determine your talent and heighten physical characteristics, most of our behavior is still affected by the current environment. Children observe and imitate other people's language and body movements, and their way of speaking and responding is also affected by surrounding factors. Therefore, nature and nurture/
cultivation are indispensable parts of the children's growth.
