At the beginning of Jesus Christ’s ministry, He traveled from Galilee to the Jordan River. John the Baptist was there preaching and baptizing the people. Jesus went to John and asked to be baptized. John did not want to do it, because he thought that Jesus should baptize him. He asked Jesus why He needed to be baptized. The Savior explained that He needed to be baptized to be obedient to the commandments of Heavenly Father. 

The temptation of Christ is described in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. According to scripture, after being baptized by John the Baptist, Jesus fasted for forty days and forty nights in the Judaean Desert. During this time, Satan appeared to Jesus and attempted to tempt him towards sin. Jesus having refused each temptation, the Devil then departed, and Jesus returned to Galilee to begin his ministry. Satan's temptations were hedonism, egoism, and materialism. 

Disciples were not just random followers. As Jesus traveled around Galilee, he called specific people to follow him and learn from him. The first people he called were Simon, Andrew, James, and John. 

Jesus, his mother, and his disciples attended a wedding in the village of Cana. When the wine ran out at the feast, Jesus turned water into wine, thus demonstrating his divinity to his disciples. 

When Jesus entered the Temple, He saw a marketplace where people were profiting from animals to be sacrificed. He saw greed and people being taken advantage of. His anger and disapproval were right and just because His Temple was never meant for that. The religious leaders in charge of the temple had made it harder for people to worship God. The temple was God’s house, which meant it was also Jesus’ house. Jesus went into the temple and cleaned it up so that people could focus on worshipping and praying to God. 

Jesus warned His followers against two sorts of prayer. He advised them not to pray foolishly, like self-righteous hypocrites in public places seeking men's honor. He also urged them not to pray mindlessly like the Gentiles, who have no connection to their deities and repeat empty phrases in the hope that they will be heard. Now, Jesus teaches His followers how to pray in the manner he will teach them. Jesus taught the disciples “The Lord’s Prayer”. 

Jesus used parables frequently in His teaching during His career. Jesus used parables to convey the Gospel's message through brief, frequently baffling stories. In this passage from Matthew, Jesus is shown explaining the nature of the heavenly kingdom to a large crowd. To show it, the kingdom is compared to a number of other things. Jesus begins by outlining the various reactions one might have upon learning about the kingdom of heaven and its implications. Jesus Christ taught important lessons concerning the Church, the eventual Apostasy, and the latter-day Restoration through the parables recorded in Matthew 13. 

Large groups of people followed Jesus as he went down the mountainside. A man with leprosy approached him and bowed before him, saying, "Lord, if you are willing, you can cleanse me." The man was touched by the hand of Jesus. "I am willing," he stated. "Be clean!" He was immediately cleansed of his leprosy. Then Jesus warned him, "See that you don't tell anyone. However, as a witness for them, proceed to the priest, present yourself, and give the offering Moses directed".

Jesus heard that John the Baptist had been killed by Herod, so he fled to a deserted place near the city of Bethsaida on the sea of Galilee. Herod could not reach Jesus in that place but Jesus' followers could. Jesus attracted followers due to his disciplines and of his teachings. As Jesus led his disciples with his followers, evening came around and they had to feed the people. A little boy came up to them and gave Jesus his five loaves and two fishes that his mother gave to him. Jesus took the five loaves, two fishes and looked up to heaven, blessing them. Then the food multiplied and he gave them to the disciples to share amongst the crowd of five thousand people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve baskets full of leftovers. 

After feeding the five thousand, Jesus bids his disciples to go into a ship, while he returns to the mountains to pray. As the evening drew nearer, the disciples found themselves trapped and tossed on a ship between the angry waves. Jesus decides to visit them, by walking on the water. The disciples were absolutely terrified, as they assumed in fear that He was an evil spirit. Jesus assured them that they should not be afraid, and Peter, being comforted by the voice of his Lord, stepped out in confidence to meet Jesus. However, distracted by the roaring winds and tossing waves, he began to sink. Upon calling out to Jesus to save him, he learned a valuable lesson that faithful night. 

A woman approached Jesus begging him to save her daughter who was possessed by a demon. Jesus, having rebuked the idea of sending her away, from his disciples, tested her faith by asking “It is not lawful to take the bread of the children and toss it to dogs”. She responded, “even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from the master's table”, resulting in her daughter being healed. A while after Jesus was soon met in the mountains by a great multitude of over seven thousand. They brought those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and all manner of sickness, and cast them at Jesus’ feet. After three days of being in the wilderness, Jesus took compassion on the multitude, and just with seven loaves and a few fishes, Jesus ensured that each person was fed. Seven baskets full of leftovers remained after that humble yet great feast. 

Jesus took Peter, James, and John up unto a high mountain, where he began to pray. As he prayed he appeared different, his face shines like the sun and his clothes were as white as light. Then Moses and Elijah appeared and were speaking with Jesus, the three disciples stood in amazement as they beheld the sight. Peter then offered to build them each a house, but before he was finished speaking, a cloud appeared and a great voice spoke and said, “this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased, hear what he has to say”. The disciples fell to the ground in terror, but Jesus touched them and told them to not be afraid. When they lifted their heads, Jesus was the only one standing there with them. 

The final ministry in Jerusalem is traditionally called the Passion and begins with Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem early in the week that includes the Last Supper and is liturgically marked as Holy Week. Jesus is entering Jerusalem on a donkey during the Passover high holy days. The advent of OT troops who were freeing Jews from Greek rule was alluded to by the donkey, the cry of Hoshiyana (God preserve us!), and the palm fronds. Before being arrested, Jesus may have spent up to six weeks teaching and healing in Jerusalem. 

This meal appears in all four Biblical gospels and the traditional words instituting the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper appears in the first letter of Paul to the Corinthians (1 Cor. 11). John does not refer to the meal directly, as Jesus is sacrificed as the Passover lamb a day earlier in his telling. Instead, John refers to the washing of his disciples' feet. Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, left the supper and went to the Jewish authorities and offered to lead them to Jesus in the olive gardens below the eastern walls of the Temple (Gethsemane). The thirty silver coins he was paid have become symbolic of "selling out", and Judas may have thought he was forcing Jesus to reveal himself. 

Jesus’ ministry concludes as he is mocked, beaten, wearing a spiked crown of thorns, and forced to carry the cross beam to his execution. In the Gospel of John, Jesus is speared with symbolic water and blood flowing from his side. When Jesus dies, an earthquake happens and the curtain dividing the Holy of Holies from the rest of the temple is torn open. The traditional route of his death march is now called the Via Dolorosa (way of sorrows). 

After three days, the length of time Jewish culture needed to guarantee that a body was well and truly dead, first Mary Magdalene, and other followers, begin to announce that Jesus has been raised from the dead by God. Proof and the technology of resurrection are not given; rather the disciples are offered evidence, leaving the decision of belief to faith rather than knowledge. Only the female followers remain faithful, remaining with Jesus to the end. On the day of Pentecost, Jesus' Holy Spirit is sent to dwell within each of his followers, so that they might multiply the work he began. Luke 24:51 says Jesus was "carried up into heaven" – returning to God, His intention is that his followers should share in his ministry, not remain dependent on his physical presence.

Through Jesus’ prophecies, His followers learned that some things that are taught come to fusion at a later date therefore, they must remember what was taught. Jesus taught us at the end of his ministry that sometimes people would do you wrong and even betray you, but we have to like him and forgive them, also never forget the reason we are educators. Sometimes we may feel at our lowest but we must rise up and shine and be the best example we can be.
