-Identify The Ten Commandments of Computer Ethics

-Insert possible resources (e.g. images, videos, sound) that would aid people in complying with these rules.

-Address the following questions within this information wall.

Q1. Which of the Ten Ethical Computing Guidelines do you think students violate most often?

This is a tough question as I believe there are two Commandments that students violate very often. These Commandments are Thou shalt NOT use or copy software for which you have not paid and Thou shalt NOT appropriate other people's intellectual output.

I believe that students violate these computer ethics because they are lazy, cheap and the punishments are not severe. People illegally download music, movies, shows, books and apps. College students do not have a lot of money so they try to find everything for free, even if it is illegal to get/download. College students are also very well known to cheat. Plagiarism is huge in college and cheating is a problem. While it happens all of the time, students do not often get caught and there are no repercussions for them breaking these ethics.

I am not sure if these occurrences of unethical behavior can be stopped. But to try, I think that there should be higher penalties for illegal downloads and plagiarism. If a student was caught plagiarizing, he or she should be automatically expelled. Students who are caught illegally downloading things should have to pay twice as much for those things as a lesson that they should have paid the first time.
