It would help to check the rubric more than three times. I regret for not checking the rubric that much. Also, don't tell anybody your progress and don't lie to them. A lot of people lied to me saying their progress was far and this made them more pressured to work. Take your time  but don't procrastinate. I suggest you to work 1-2 week on your experiment and then try to perfect it even more. Your ISI counts on your experiment so if your experiment doesn't work try to redo it until it works. Doing it only once won't do that much and also search the internet a lot and use your time effectively. In your Data Analysis make sure you include necessary things. Don't include things that the teacher doesn't want. Go to the teacher directly if you aren't sure of what to do. Ms. Kim is very reliable and helps you in any aspects. Don't ignore her words and do what she says. If you don't do what she says, don't think about expecting a good grade. You are know 8th graders I expect you to manage your time carefully and listen to every single thing your teacher tells you to do. Science will be very challenging and if you think it will be easy think again because I thought the same thing. Tests are very hard to do because the teacher throws random things. I suggest you looking the internet for challenge problems involving grade 8 science biology, chemistry. The first quarter is okay, but then the second quarter will be hard. I think that's the best answer. Also use your time wisely. I know everyone says this, but it's true! Try finishing earlier than anyone else. Also, meet the teacher (Ms. Kim) at least once a week. She is a great teacher and she will provide you feedbacks (and some snacks too). Also, ahh read the rubric and follow the yellow paper. IT HELPS!! ALSO, FINISH your experiment as soon as you can!
