meaning of poem: 
The first stanza talks about the Queen (the Titanic), and the iceberg (the force) the Queen is fighting. The battle is not getting hit by an iceberg and sink (they lost that battle).
The second and third stanza of the poem also talks about the pride and joy of people who were riding in this amazing ship. 
The fourth talks about how the ship slowly sinks down into the waves of the quiet but dangerous ocean.

She started her own dress shop and became extremely successful. She was significant to the era because women around the country came to her for dresses. I think she is inspiring because she came from a different county and was able to overcome challenges to be an amazing fashion designer.
