1) Earning the sophistication is always difficult, and I personally don't have the strongest "unique" tone or voice. I have found that, in synthesis essays, connecting the documents and seeing how they communicate with each other (whether they directly contradict, or if they build off of one another) is a very effective way to still earn that sophistication point. In addition, analyzing potential biases in a source is another effective way to earn the point.

BP 1 - Source E argues that nobody hardly uses it nowadays, thus it is losing significance in the modern world and no longer is important to be taught. Source C argues that texts today are mainly written in normal writing (non-cursive) and thus it is irrelevant for students to be taught to read and write this way. However, (counterargument) it could be important for reading historical documents such as the constitution as it states in this source. BP 2 - Source B shows us how students are taught cursive. Worksheets like these are not an easy task and take much time to perfect. This time is possibly wasted as many do not remember how to write cursive. Thus, this is a waste of time that could be used more productively.
