Act 3 Scene 4 is where Lady Capulet, Capulet, and Paris are talking about Paris and Juliet getting married. Also, Juliet is sad about Tybalt's death. She is stuck in her room because of grief. This shows that Juliet is feeling sorrow and misery for her lost cousin. When Capulet speaks of Juliet he says, "Tonight she is shut up in her room, alone with her sadness" (3.4.10-11). This shows how Juliet is bedridden because of her sadness. In Ed Sheeran's song, Supermarket Flowers, it says "...don't...cry when you're down, but... there's a tear every time that I blink," Being upset about something and crying is similar to what Juliet went through in this scene.

Act 3 Scene 2 is when Juliet finds out about her cousin Tybalt being killed by her husband Romeo. Her nurse asks her why she has good things to say about the man that killed her own cousin. Juliet says that Romeos punishment of being banished is much worse than being killed. Juliet then has the nurse get Romeo to comfort her. Juliet expresses her sadness when she says "Oh, my heart is breaking. Oh, my bankrupt heart is breaking. I'll send my eyes to prison, and they'll never be free to look at anything again." (3.2 58-60) This shows Juilets fear and sorrow from the possibility of never seeing Romeo again. In the song Miss You Like Crazy by Natalie Cole the line "I miss you like crazy, I miss you like crazy
Ever since you went away, every hour of every day.I miss you like crazy, I miss you like crazy. No matter what I say or do, there's just no getting over you." This song helps show the sense of loneliness that Juliet is feeling.

Act 3 Scene 5 is when Capulet and Lady Capulet tell Juliet that she is being arranged to marry Paris. Juliet tells them that she is thankful, but she doesn't wish to marry Paris. This makes Capulet angry. When Capulet speaks to Juliet he says, "'You disgust me, you little bug! You worthless girl! You pale face!'" (3.5.156-157). This shows how Capulet is mad at Juliet for not listening to him. In the song Goodbye by Kristina Debarge it says, "Pardon me if I don't show it I don't care if I never see you again I'll be alright" This relates to how Capulet feels t Juliet because he is mad at her. Also, he doesn't want to see her because he is so made at her.

Act 3 scene 3 is when Romeo in in Friar Lawrence's cell and he is distressed because he has been banished and sees it as the worst thing in the world. The Friar says that it could be worse, but Romeo sees it as the worst thing because he would have to live without Juliet. The Nurse shows up and tells Romeo that Juliet wants to see him and that he is to go to her home that night. The Nurse then gives Romeo the ring and it is know as a physical symbol of their love. Romeo then prepares for his journey to Mantua. Romeo is so sad and in grief and this reflects in the line " You cant talk about something that you don't feel...grave hasn't yet been dug"(3.3. 64-70) In the song Ain't No Sunshine by Bill Withers the lyric "Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
It's not warm when she's away
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And she's always gone too long
Anytime she goes away" This shows Romeo's sadness from the thought of never seeing Juliet again.
