Research on your web builder:

1.  WordPress was developed in 2003 by American, Matt Mullenweg, and UK blogger, Mike Little.
WordPress was originally created as a blogging tool.  It has expanded to become a content management system where you can create a website limited only by your imagination; you can sell products/services, blog, share photographs and so on.  WordPress places a lot of emphasis on sites being open and accessible to all.

2.  WordPress Benefits:
WordPress is user-friendly and can easily be used by  beginners.  You can use and customize pre-created themes to help you get your website started.  WordPress is mobile friendly:  When creating websites using most WordPress themes, the ability to view your site on a mobile device is 'baked-in'.

3.  WordPress Limitations: 
Each additional 'feature' requires an add-on or plugin; adding these plugins into your WordPress page can be tricky and frustrating.  Because WordPress is open-source, WordPress users must get used to updating their site frequently.  Again, due to its open-source construction, WordPress is vulnerable to hackers and malicious code added to the many plugins created for WordPress.

4.  Compare your web builder vs WordPress.  Which one is "better" or "easier" to use and why?

To answer this question, you will need to perform a quick Google search specifically comparing your web builder to WordPress.

1. Variety of professionally design templates: Squarespace provides many different professionally designed templates and can be customized to fit different type of website.
2. Easy to use: Squarespace provide an user friendly platform. Even beginners can establish, manage and set up their website easily. 
3. Strong eCommerce features: It is an all- in- one platform, beside designing website, it allows users selling products online and leave comment on products. That can help businesses grow.

3) Manroop
Squarespace may not be the best choice if people want a very complex website with lots of special features.
While there are many different designs to choose from, it can be hard to make your website look completely unique.
Squarespace also costs money, and some people might find it more expensive than other website builders. 

4) Sindia
WordPress is a free platform that offers more customization options but can be more difficult to use than Squarespace.
Squarespace is a paid platform with an easier-to-use interface and pre-designed templates, but with limited customization options.

2. GoDaddy is known for its fast loading screens The main service offered by GoDaddy is website building. In addition to offering online editing, promotional and marketing tools, it also has website hosting and offers a variety of different servers that simplifies web design. GoDaddy is Ideal for beginners who are starting a business, it has helpful tools for designing, organizing and offers step by step tutorials if needed. Lastly, you to create an online store and build specific websites. GoDaddy is efficient for growing brands and small businesses.
 
3. One limitation of GoDaddy is that there is no chat support. If you come across an issue, you must contact the representatives, which can take days to get a response. The next limitation is that if you make a mistake, there is a restoration fee. Some sites are free of charge, but GoDaddy has a fee. The last limitation is that the internal speeds are not very fast. GoDaddy is a large website and sometimes it is slow. 
 
4. If you are looking for a flexible platform to build and manage your website, WordPress is a great choice, if you're looking for an all-in-one solution that includes domain registration, web hosting, and a website builder, GoDaddy might be a better option. Ultimately, your choice should be based on your specific needs and requirements. However I feel that WordPress is the all-around better choice as it’s more affordable, has a large plugin ecosystem, and offers you the flexibility to grow your business.

Weebly is a website builder company that can provide you with tools to help you create a website that will stand out from everyone else’s. Weebly powers over 50 million sites around the world.  Weebly is not a free service; it used to be, but now there’s a $6 monthly fee. Also, Weebly is a great service and a very reliable source to get you up and running. Even if you are just starting out and don’t know what to do I would recommend Weebly 

#2. (Lisa) Weebly can help if you want to set up an online store. It provides all the necessary tools to get going “shopping cart, ability to access payments, and product pages”. You are able to create a personalized blog with flexible and easy-to-use features such as “drag-and-drop creation” while putting together your content. You have the ability to construct your website whenever, wherever, and however you want. It also looks great on any device you use. 

#3. (Chelsea) Like every website, Weebly has its limitations. Here are the three listed below:
1. There is no choice but to remove uploaded files from your website on Weebly.
2. Both free and paid users of Weebly are prohibited from installing any software on their websites.
3. Since you cannot replicate a Weebly blog, migrating your blog's content is incredibly tough.

#4. (Naomi) From what I have collected in my research on both of these website builders Weebly is considered “easier” to use, whereas WordPress is considered “better” to use. Weebly is a self-hosted platform which means you are required to pay to use its services, whereas WordPress is a free platform service. Weebly is overall a simpler builder to use. It can support many kinds of business websites such as online and marketing stores. WordPress is overall a stronger, or more efficient builder to use as it can connect you to more versatile/ unmatched providers or program options. Each website builder has its own pros and cons.

It isn't the most optimal platform to use for larger website creation as it can be unstable to use.
