Just wanted to say that this, the interaction, is possibly the most important part of the entire event. Due to the event being virtual, a Stoneclap gig practically starts when an interaction between the artist and the audience happens (be that waving hands and getting a response, or asking a question etc). That is the moment when it turns from YouTube into Stoneclap :). So I'm really looking forward to see your ideas on this topic.

eran: Hi guys, I think that to start off with, we need to establish some goals and our desired outcomes for the Interactive Management team. Our primary interest, I think, would be interactions between the audience and the artists, but we could also consider inter-audience interactions. Thoughts? It would be nice to end up with a quick outline of a couple of things that we can consider to be meaningful interaction that's valuable to try and capture.
Xiangyu: I'd love to join IMT! I'v read some comments of the Curators Team, now I have some thoughts. I think we have:
1/internal interactive management including interaction between different teams.
Since each team's work will definitely influence other teams' work, I think IMT needs to take the responsibility to help and sometimes push teams and all the members to communicate about the progress. If one of the teams has problems, we could inform others to get some solutions or make some adjustments.
2/external interactive management including:
*inter-artists. We will invite relative artists according to the theme we have decided. So, maybe communication between different artists can bring some inspirations and help us to have deeper understandings about the theme and the society and culture?

From Iulian (Stoneclap):
This is not allowed by design. There can only be one artist and one audience at one time, so that they can freely interact as if the artist would be in house. Thus we should focus most on the other two interactions within the audience and between artist and audience.

*inter-audience. It will be important.
*between the artists and audience as Eran said already.

Larissa: Hey everyone! Just to flag here that I'd like to join the IMT. I haven't got any ideas about it yet, but I will update here once they come to my mind. Cheers!

From Iulian (Stoneclap):
Note that two artists can't be on Stoneclap at the same time. It's always one artist for one audience. Thus artists won't be able to interact with each other, but only with the audience. That's by design, a Stoneclap experience is a private concert just for you, where the artist focuses on you.

Hey team! I'm not part of this group, but I sent an email to Iulian asking about technical requirements that you might find useful. I'm just gonna leave the information here.

"Artist connects their instruments to an audio interface (every artist has one of these for their recordings). That audio interface then gets connected to a laptop/computer which runs Stoneclap. Stoneclap picks up the sound coming from the audio interface and transmits it to the other side (the audience side). We send 48k sound, so studio quality. On that side, we’ll likely have a similar setup, an external audio interface to which we plug our microphones (we’ll use 2 microphones maybe) and the speakers/subwoofer.

The video is basically a webcam. It can be an actual webcam (generally a 720p cam), or it can be a better camera (like a GoPro which can go up to 1080p and has better details) with a codec adapter like the Blackmagic Design Mini Recorder. The second option is of course preferable, but sometimes can be hard to procure/setup for an artist."

I'm sorry for messing up the flow of your padlet. Feel free to move or delete this post.
-Cat
