I can create a lasting Legado to my fellow Povedans by holding a good example to those around me, Which I can do by upholding integrity, compassion, and respect in everything I do. In addition, I can create a legado by following the Poveda Core Values and apply them to everything that I do. One core value I can apply is Christ-centeredness, I can do this by devoting all I do to the lord as he opens my arms to welcome people with kindness. I can also use my talents to create a warmer environment within the school, accommodating and loving those around me.

If you were given a chance to speak your opinion about the Martial Law of Yoon Suk Yeol, would you agree or disagree with his plan? Why?

In my opinion, his decision to declare an “emergency martial law” was immoral because it was more of a personal preservation rather than to protect the people of Korea. It was done more out of fear to lose his power over his oppositions and also to protect his wife over her alleged scandals. I am thankful that the National Assembly in their country was able to lift the declaration immediately after five hours which shows the system of government works. South Korea is a democratic country and I don’t believe it should be run by one person. Applying martial law to the country will not only harm the people, but the economy and nation as a whole.

As a Povedan, I would want others to see Christ in me. I can leave a lasting impression on my fellow Povedans and other people by following Saint Pedro Poveda's ministry of genuine love and respect to everyone through the example of Jesus, no matter who the person is. I will do my best to be more forgiving towards others, even if they did something wrong to me. Additionally, I will use the talents that the Lord gave me to spread His Word to help encourage others.
