I like this song because I can determine the meaning of the song with how I want too. For me this song is about being relaxed and not stressing over the small things in life. There is no point in worrying in something that has little meaning to your future. Life is too short to spend a majority of it being stressed and nervous. In the movie we watch Forrest grow up from an elementary school student, to becoming a father with his only friend in school. He taught me that loyalty is the most important quality in a person. He ran back and forth during a war to save as many men as he could. He made a promise to his friend, who died in the war, and he kept it. He is constantly worrying and overthinking social situations. I can relate to Holden through his mental struggles and his fear of not being accepted into the world. Because of Holden I learned that there are many people in my life I can turn to if I need help. No one supported him for a long time, yet he continued to express himself and prove to the people who didn’t believe in him wrong. He lives his life to the fullest and expresses it through his photography. I think helping others is very important in today's world and even doing small volunteer activities can help change the place everyone lives in. I also believe that kindness will always come back around, so be nice to people. I have three younger siblings and sometimes it is hard to be nice to them all the time I still try my best not to lose my temper when I'm around them. I love photography and taking picture of nature is my favorite, but I also enjoy going to the city with my friends to get interesting shots.
